From the moment I requested a quote, Curtis was very prompt getting back to me and stayed in contact with me right through our event. I had no hesitation going into this because I knew exactly what to expect from my conversations with Curtis and the follow-up emails I received. Ronny was our DJ and was awesome! He was extremely accommodating and worked well with what can sometimes be a difficult crowd. I hadn’t seen a lot of these people in 10 years so I had no idea what to expect. Curtis was very good with the follow up with confirmation paperwork.  Greg did a great job.   No issues at all.  He called 1 week in advance to verify a few things and to see if there were any special requests etc.. he should be aware of.  He showed up on time.  Greg did a great job - he took requests, he kept things going when they would slow down, he got a group photo of all of us which was a nice idea!  Greg did an awesome job.  He was also flexible with overtime which we needed for 1/2 hour.  See you guys in two years for Chris's College Graduation!

I met Curtis and Anna at a bridal show at the EXPO center roughly 2 years ago, and for me it was love at first sight. i kept them in the back of my brain while I waited to plan my wedding. when the first time finally came around i called and we went in to meet with these wonderful people.  Unfortunately we had to post pone the wedding HOWEVER once we were ready to start moving things forward Curtis and Anna had everything in our file and were ready to go, they made this
experience so wonderful and easy on us.  Can you say WOW WOW WOW!?! You want to talk about talent, you must be talking about Curtis and Anna.  These are two special people who put themselves out there to better any and every situation.  They get the party started, feet moving, hands clapping, heads bobbing and hips shakin!  Not to mention i had the honor of Curtis being my JP so i got the best of both worlds.  I couldn’t have wished for anything more magical and i thank you both for that. There are no words to describe the appreciation Jordan and I have! You guys were great to work with. You responded to all my emails (and yes there was quite a few) and you did everything we asked and more. We would definitely use you guys again! We sent a survey to our employees yesterday asking for feedback about the party and they were all consistent in saying how much they liked the fact that you interacted so much with us as a group. The games were a surprise but they were so much fun. Everyone laughed a lot. It was fun to compete with fellow employees. The slideshow Anna put together was a huge hit. We are going to put it on our shared drive here in the office per the request of the employees so they can watch it again and again. You did more than we possibly could have hoped for. The only thing I would change for next time would be to add another hour at the end of our party since cocktail hour ran over it’s time limit so dinner was late. We could have danced all night but it went by too fast. Everyone loved you guys and we hope to use you again soon.

Curtis and Anna, WOW and WOW! Words cannot describe how amazingly perfect these two were for our wedding. FATE brought us to the BEST entertainment company!!!! Curtis said we would want to hug him after the reception and he’d have to encourage us to go be with our guests, not only was he right but my husband who is not a hugger, just had to give Curtis and Anna both hugs because they were SO GREAT. We were so appreciative!
Jamie and I were in a position that is every couple’s worst nightmare, two weeks before our wedding we were left to hire the DJ, photographer and videographer for our day due to a fraudulent company we hired originally. We found Curtis Knight Entertainment through two referrals and I am SO GLAD we did. Things happen for a reason and I truly believe that we were left in the horrible position we were without vendors so that we would then end up with having the BEST and PERFECT vendors for us and making our wedding truly the one everyone is talking about!!!!
Jamie and I live in England, I was able to meet with Anna and Curtis a week and a half before the wedding and as soon as I left I knew they were the ones for us! They knew EVERYTHING there was to know about wedding days and thought of things I hadn’t (and I am a planner)!!! Of course their very loveable St Bernard Molly stole my heart too! :o)
Jamie and I went to them the Monday before our wedding. Let me say that again, we were getting married on Saturday December 19th and we met with Curtis and Anna on the Monday before, the 14th! I am a HUGE music fan and it was devastating for me not to be able to have more time with them. That was our only meeting with them. We managed to sort out all the songs, our recordings, and everything else we needed for the day! Anna and Curtis AMAZINGLY acted on the day as if they had been planning far in advance for our wedding, when really they had LESS THAN A WEEK to get everything together! And in the end they played ALL the songs I wanted and even went above and beyond to get the music from the UK I wanted played!
To make matters more complicated, we had not one but two people and three songs being sung live at the wedding! Curtis and Anna were able to professionally put together the tracks, liaise with the singers, and even had back ups ready to go in case there was any stage fright!
I’ll be honest, on the day I worried if vendors were going to show up because we had such a bad experience but I can’t even believe the thought entered my head about Anna and Curtis, they are two wonderful, genuine, caring and loving people. They treated us like we were their one and only customers, red carpet all the way, and like we were family. Curtis and Anna are a part of our family now and our extended family; everyone said they were amazing! (Only a few people knew we had only been able to hire them a week before; it was like they new us for years)!
My vision for our day was that the ceremony would be romantic and all about our love and the reception would be the best party ever! I am happy to announce that not only am I now Mrs. Jamie Taylor, I had the PERFECT wedding day! I would be happy to speak to anyone and everyone to SING the praises of Curtis Knight Entertainment. I couldn’t imagine not having Anna and Curtis but if the DJs they have and train are approved and trained by Anna and Curtis than I bet they are top class!

We were very warmly welcomed. There was absolutely NO pressure to book, and you gave us so much time even before we decided to book with yourselves it was great!

Friday night was great. I have been receiving tons of e-mails thanking me for the Lovely X-Mas party. I have to tell you, every one of the e-mails that I have gotten, have all said that the DJ was great, and they enjoyed the games. They said you made it fun. So, I think that says a lot about how you did. I will respond to your questions as well. So thanks again. I have my boyfriend John's 50th coming up this summer, so I may be planning big party in a hall, and would love for you to be our DJ. I will get back to you once I know what's going on. Also, John's son just graduated from Paramedic school, and John wants to rent a hall and throw a party for him with a DJ, so, I may be calling you sooner than you think.
Caryn made it on time, but it was difficult to find. She got there and set up before the guests arrived. Caryn was dressed appropriately, black pants and shirt, and her Santa hat. Caryn was very sociable, and the guests loved her. Music selection was good. I would give her a 10 on a scale of 0 - 10.

We had a great experience with your office. You were very accommodating in setting up an initial meeting, and in every step of the planning process. You responded to emails quickly as well, and the website makes it easy to track/make payments, as well as to make any updates or requests. DJ Mark Cherone was great! He was very professional, both in appearance and behavior. Everyone was extremely impressed with his attention to detail (name pronunciation!), and Sean and I appreciate that when major parts of the night were approaching (cake cutting, first dances) he gave us "warnings" so that we would be prepared for the time.
He did a wonderful job, and definitely did his best. He was great to work with, listened to our requests, and most importantly kept the dance floor packed the entire evening.
We couldn't be happier with our choice to work with Curtis Knight Entertainment and DJ Mark C. I will be sure to recommend him to anyone that is looking for a DJ.

We owe a lot of that praise to the two of you. You did such a great job preparing us for the reception - I really felt like I knew exactly what was going to happen, when, and how. And then the follow through and the communication was exactly how you had prepared us. Your guidance with decisions that were made on what to do (Sweet Caroline and when to end the night) positively impacted everybody's experiences.

From our initial meeting with you, we knew you “were it”. We knew your services would cost a bit more but we also knew that a DJ can really make or break a wedding. Our wedding day- the reception was flawless (well as far as we could see- as promised you ran the show and took care of it all!). The introductions were amazing, the way you let us know in a completely non invasive way, and most of all the entertainment you provided us as well as all our guests was truly unbelievable. The dance floor was packed all night- that was all I wanted!. From the first introduction, to “Don’t Stop Believing” to my mom begging you for one more song- you guys continued to amaze me. Both Curtis and John made me feel as if I was in good hands throughout the planning process leading up to the wedding. John and Sandra were great DJs! They blended into the background when necessary but also got our guests excited and dancing. They are so laid back and not "in your face" - exactly what we asked for. How was your experience working with our office to book your event ?
Very easy! And we liked all the online options. Curtis was very nice to talk to, and we truly believe he picked the best DJ for our event from all his staff. The reminder emails were also very nice. And when we changed our father-daughter dance song the day before the wedding, it seemed to be no problem, which was super!
How was your experience working with our DJ ?
Great! We liked that he checked the pronunciation of the bridal party's names. He checked in with us throughout the night just often enough so that if we needed something, he was there. I saw a few people requesting songs, but not a ton - meaning he was playing good stuff!
Do you feel that your DJ did his/her best to make your event the best it could be ?
Yes, we do. The minor issues were either worked out in a funny way (like when one of our groomsmen walked in with another couple in our bridal party, and they all held hands), or in a way that our guests didn't even know! (We had wanted other father-daughter couples and other mother-son couples to join us on the dance floor halfway through b/c we are so shy - but we both ended up really enjoying having that time with our parents.) There was just the right mix of music so everyone was happy - one aunt even commented that she danced more at the wedding than any other wedding b/c there wasn't too much "kid music" - she meant the newer hip hop stuff. Overall, we were pleased.

Please excuse the excessive use of capitalization in the line that follows. OH MY GOODNESS THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! As corny as that sounds, I absolutely mean it from all of my heart. I was planning on sending you an email thanking you for the wonderful job you did musically at our wedding. The dinner music was without a doubt pure perfection. Our entrance was made fantastic courtesy of you. People had an absolute blast dancing the night away (as did we!). Let me tell you right now that we are still receiving compliments from anyone we see that was at the wedding on how great the two of you were and how great the music was. The older crowd appreciated the song selections and simultaneously so did the younger crowd! What more could you ask for? They were great dance songs but nothing too risque, exactly what we wanted. We loved the "Anniversary Dance", it was the perfect tribute to CJ's grandparents who we now share the same anniversary and something we never would have thought of if it wasn't your idea. You checked in with us constantly to keep us in the loop and make sure we were ready but it was never once intruding. You are truly professionals but there's something more there. From the moment you stepped out to greet us at our first meeting, we knew there was something special about the two of you.
My two favorite things (besides my new husband that is) are music and pictures. If I am being totally honest, you saved our wedding with those photos. I would be lying if I was to say that I was completely happy with our pictures from the photographer. Your pictures are just as good if not BETTER than our professional ones. You have photos of our last dance that the photographer doesn't have because she had already left. Thank you. CJ has said it and I completely agree, if we had known what great photographs you were capable of, we would have had you do it all! I would have been in tears if you didn't have all those wonderful pictures that you took. I was in awe of the slideshow you made online but when we got that DVD I just teared right up. I cannot believe how much effort you put into it and how beautiful it came out. Even the picture on the CD itself. Just WOW. The replay of the speeches in the DVD are so nice and you picked the perfect parts to play over the song at the wedding itself too. Everyone was like "oh my gosh, that was early TONIGHT". The mini video of people dancing is great, it's all our favorite people right up front. Also, it was so generous of you to send extra copies of the DVD for our parents. They love them as well. You went above and beyond in every single aspect of our wedding.
You set the tone for the wedding musically and gave us such wonderful memories to remember in print as well. I wish we were getting married again just to have the both of you back for round two. Maybe an anniversary right? We have nothing but wonderful things to say about you and you will be the first recommendation we give when someone tells us they're getting married. Can't wait to see you two again, hope all is well. Thank you from the absolute bottom of my heart.

This is, no lie ( I swear on my little Newborn), the first email I've sent since last contacting you before your tremendous performance at  Lori and I's wedding. I’m just not an online guy. Well, I had the pleasure of seeing Anna and Curtis at the Bayside Expo Center Bridal Fair which I got dragged to by my mother. I made a demo with Curtis back around 2001/2002….and so I recognized him right away. We sat down and talked with him about the wedding. The set-up was great because it had the video of past weddings and people looked like they were having a blast. I went to the Fair with my cousin who was getting married that year in October and she had wanted to book the dynamic duo but had to book with a different DJ of Curtis’ because they were booked. (Lauren & Joe Cameron…October 2008..that DJ was really cool).
Curtis is always full of so much energy I am surprised the roof didn’t blow off. He explained everything to us in great detail, from the moment we walk into the reception to the last dance. He also told us how he works with the photographer and sets up the cake nicely so the bride & groom will get nice photos.
Curtis put all our nerves at ease because he knew what he was talking about, and we had no clue what we were talking about. We sat and talked to Curtis for a long time, so much so my cousin circled around us multiple times and almost left us there. Curtis gave us his full attention and never got distracted. It was really sincere of him to have the one on one with us.
We ended up giving Curtis a down payment that day because we knew he was a hot ticket and booked up fast. My husband (hehe sorry still not used to that) was very skeptical because my mother and I came back from the Fair with the DJ booked and he had no idea who Curtis and Anna were….he actually didn’t meet them until the day of the wedding. Let me tell you, all this skepticism went away after Curtis and Anna met up with us outside. Now he cannot stop singing their praises.
All in all, our experience working with the office to book the event was fantastic. I never called the office or visited in Billerica, but working with Curtis and Anna that day was great. It’s amazing to think that we never physically stepped into the Billerica office but still had everything set up perfectly and that is all due to the online account. I felt like I was actually planning my own wedding because of the information I could plug into the online account. Even though Fairs are annoying and they take all day – one of the best ways to get your name out (not that you guys need it) to the exact market segment you are looking for is by booking at these fairs.
Working with Curtis and Anna on our wedding day was AWFUL……… because it had to end!!!!!!!!!!! Anna is like the “sweet Aunt” who is the sweetest thing on this Earth and Curtis is like the “favorite Uncle” in the family!! As soon as Henri and I sat down Anna came over to ask if we needed anything, no this wasn’t just anything related to music…she asked if we needed a drink, if our food was okay, etc. Curtis also made sure everything was okay; it was as if they adopted us for the day.
The experience was out of this world. They both know how to read the crowd so well, it is spooky. There was only one point in the entire night where the guests were unsure what to do. I believe it was after we cut the cake, people were standing in their own little groups outside of the dance floor. Henri and I looked up and noticed the different groupings and before either of us could get a word out to each other here comes Curtis and he stated, “Okay, we have to start doing something or these people are going to leave.” So then they started the music, and the dance floor was never to be empty again.
Throughout the night Curtis and Anna would update us on the mood of our guests. They said if we do THIS…THIS will happen. If we don’t do THIS…THIS will happen….and they were right! It was mind boggling!!! I know that they deal with nagging guests all the time and being in the hospitality industry, I know what that is like. There was one incident (that I know of) which involved the aforementioned and Anna was so cool and collected and let us do our thing. She warned us of the possible outcome and wanted me to know that we were taking a risk……but being a risk taker I went for it…luckily it turned out good. It was all on my brother if it didn’t!
Do you feel that your DJ did his / her best to make your event the best it could be?
Absolutely, completely, without a doubt, wholly, extremely, totally…………………….ANTIDISTABLISHMENTARIANISM…………………… (ok, so-umm...this was the longest word in the dictionary when I was in 6th grade, I had to memorieze it for extra points on my test. It means opposing the with-drawl of recognition from the church…but we'll just ignore that. I didn’t want to keep rambling on with all the positive adjectives in the entire dictionary to explain my feeling that Curtis and Anna did their best to make our event the best it could be. I think I made my point.

How was your experience working with our office to book your event ? The office was great. I always got a timely response every time I called or emailed, which was great. I only worked with Curtis and Mark and both were great to work with! They made the planning fun!
How was your experience working with our DJ ? Mark was awesome! He did such a great job with everything from the first minute we met him up until the last dance of the night. He was very professional and organized. Scott and I were very indecisive and he was always very patient with us and willing to offer suggestions. We also had several last minute changes for Mark. I'm sure this made things a lot more complicated, but he made everything so easy and didn't have any problems updating names/song choices/announcements, even if it was only one day before the wedding.
Do you feel that your DJ did his/her best to make your event the best it could be ? Absolutely. Mark was great leading up to and the actual day of the event. We noticed there were a couple of songs that skipped throughout the night, but that was probably an issue with the equipment and Mark did a great job at recovering quickly so there wasn't any dead silence in the room. Our biggest request was for Mark to keep the dance floor full the entire night and he did just that. The dance floor was not empty even once - it was actually packed the entire night, so he did a great job reading the crowd and playing the right music. Everyone had a blast at the wedding and Mark was a huge part in making that happen! Please be sure to thank him for everything he did to make our wedding so special!!

Curtis called me back each time promptly. He was very accommodating. Alex was great. He was personable and pleasant to talk with. He played requests and kept things going even though my bunch didn’t get up to dance very much. The music just kept on coming. He kept asking for requests and recommending that guest “get on the dance floor.” His selections were very good and he kept the music at a comfortable speaking volume.
I thought Alex was a great addition to our party. Our party, however, was not the most exciting. We have a lot of staff that do not dance but would rather just sit and chit chat. Alex was able to get some up to dance and keep them up for a few dances. He was very patient and understanding. I know he was trying different music to get everyone up, but I told him “it was the crowd.” Please thank him personally for me. I did enjoy his company. He knows what he’s doing and I would definitely ask for him again.

Comments: Curtis and Anna were extremely flexible when it came to scheduling our meetings. We were traveling from New Jersey on the weekends doing our planning and on at least two occasions we had to cancel at the last minute. They were very understanding. We actually met with them on two Sundays – not many DJs (or people) for that matter would make time on their weekend (Sunday) to meet. We were very happy and impressed. *They even let us bring our dog!

Comments: Where to begin? What words would describe Curtis and Anna. How about “Professional, courteous, gracious, client-focused, inquisitive, and a strong desire to make it about us and our day. We were impressed from the beginning when we called and scheduled our meeting and they followed up with a detailed email confirming the meeting, complete with directions and contact information. When we met with them the first time, we spent over an hour discussing our story, how we met, our friends and our guests, our music tastes and what we were looking for on our special day. It was clear that they were genuinely interested and had a strong desire to exceed our expectations. And boy did they ever! During our second meeting, we were impressed with the level of detail and the organization that they displayed. We worked our way through a 10+ summary of all the important details (many of which had never occurred to us). This professionalism paid off – the big day was a resounding success. Curtis and Anna arrived early to our event, set up and conducted themselves with exactly the level of excitement, enthusiasm that we wanted. Having two DJ’s was best thing that we did for our wedding. All of the transitions were seamless and they worked so well together, you would think they were married J We have had many comments from guests during and after the wedding who say they “loved the DJ’s”

Comments: TOP NOTCH SERVICE. Wow. They worked hard to make sure that our special day was everything that we ever dreamed it would be. They did a multitude of little things that most DJ’s would never even think of or consider. The perfect example of this is the fact that they took many pictures (another benefit of having two DJ’s) and edited them to a slide show with music. They sent this to us THE NEXT DAY! And Curtis called to let us know he sent it and to look for it in our in-box. Not to mention the fact that the day of our wedding, they gave us a CD with all of our special request songs on it, including the ceremony music. AMAZING! If I could buy stock in Curtis Knight Entertainment, I would.

Comments: Chris and I had a great time coming to the office initially to meet with you and Jeanie. You were all very energetic and enthusiastic about making our event the best it could be, and exactly what we wanted. The initial planning and picking of some songs right away helped us feel comfortable that we were getting things done and made us excited for how much we could really customize the music to make the wedding very personal. Both Curtis and Jeanie were very prompt with getting back to us through email, about questions, billing, etc. and very thorough with all information.

Comments: Jeanie really listened to us, and showed a genuine interest in what our personal song preferences were. At the times where we were unsure of what music would work best, she worked hard to come up with suggestions and ideas. The Easton Country Club STRONGLY recommended her and we are so glad that they did. People were dancing the ENTIRE night and had a great time. Everyone I dealt with was very nice and helpful. There was a small issue during the reception with the times listed on the contract and how much longer he would be able to stay, but he went over and above to make sure we were happy with the result.

I can't begin to tell you how impressed we are with your slide show, we can't thank you enough. We have been sharing your email with all our friends and family and everyone calls us to tell us how much they enjoyed your music at the wedding and what a bonus the slide show is. I wish you got a picture of the groom's mother's face when she heard the voice over. Bill told her they were doing something special but didn't tell her what it was and it left us both crying with joy.
Curtis, we went to a wedding Saturday night at the Boston Long Wharf Marriott, the couple had the reception hall until 10:00, however mostly everyone left by 9:00 along with us because the music was so loud and they played the same beat over and over again. The music was great for a night club or Christmas Party but did not belong at a wedding. You played just the right mix for everyone and as you can see from the slide show, everyone was us having a good time and you didn't have to resort to any silly games, etc. to get people up on the dance floor.
We are so happy that we found you for our daughter's wedding, you weren't a vendor you were family with class. You were like friends hosting our wedding for us. Thank you so much for being you.

When I began researching Dj's for my event, I was so impressed by the quick response and the wealth of information provided to me that we never met with another DJ. And boy did I make the right decision. John and Sondra were fabulous. They really made the event pop. A good time was had by all. I love the YMCA dance that John did with the groom and groomsmen. It was so much fun!!!

Dear Curtis and Anna,
When Courtney, Kristen and I began the wedding shopping journey, we really had no idea what to expect. Attending the Bridal Show at the Andover Country Club was our starting point and as it turned out, the right thing for us to do because it was there that we met you and Anna. Little did we know that we had managed to hit the DJ Jackpot!
As weeks passed, Kristen made the decision that Curtis Knight was her choice of DJ for her wedding at Castleton. She took me to her first appointment with you and Anna and immediately I knew we all connected. I enjoyed spending that afternoon with both of you. Kristen and I both had the feeling of “Welcome.” The time you took explaining your approach to the ceremony and reception, made me realize how much you love your work. Your attention to detail impressed me. Kristen was relaxed and confident with you and I knew she was in good hands with you as her “Music Man.”
In preparation for the “Jeff and Kristen” wedding, many questions, concerns, and ideas came and went…you were always a phone call or an email away. We all appreciated the time you took to calm our nerves and reassure us that all would go well. And on July 27, 2008, all did go well and so much more than I had anticipated. When it was over, my guests made it a point to compliment our choice of DJ. They loved your personality as well as choice and volume of music. So did I.
What I didn’t know was that you dabble in digital photography and enjoy capturing special moments while at work. How surprising it was for me to receive an email from you days after the wedding! I thank you for the digital slideshow you created of my daughter’s wedding ceremony and reception. You managed to photograph the quiet before the ceremony: the setting, the grounds, and the reception hall. By watching the slideshow, I was able to relive the day and enjoy the memory. What a nice touch!
Thank you for taking the time and putting forth the extra special effort of getting to know us as a family and using tidbits of info to share with the wedding guests as you entertained us all.
So needless to say, when Courtney became engaged 9 months before Kristen’s wedding, she decided to jump on the “Curtis Knight” Bandwagon and hire you and Anna as well for the “Courtney and Matt” wedding event. Courtney and Matt handled all their own music arrangements and I did not participate in any of their appointments however, Matt always made it a point to tell me what a great “visit” they had with you and Anna. “It was like visiting our friends,” he said. I understood completely because that was the impression I felt when I met you and Anna.
The warmth you extend to your clients is wonderful. It was definitely present last night (October 10th) at Tewksbury Country Club. Having you and Anna as our wedding DJs was more like having family entertaining our guests. I was so pleased that you acknowledged my mother’s “85th” birthday although I think she would have preferred to keep it a secret. I liked that you included Kristen’s recent marriage in your introduction of her to the guests.
Friday night was another successful Curtis Knight event! Guests commented once again how great the DJ was. They loved the “Ten Questions” shoe game; most had never seen it before that’s because they weren’t at Kristen’s wedding.
You and Anna present a warm, comfortable, cozy feeling; it is a relaxing feeling. Because I knew how you like to capture those digital moments, this time I was able to point out some of my favorites for you to capture as well. I knew what would be coming to my email box soon. What I didn’t expect was to find the “Curtis Knight” slideshow of the “Courtney and Matt” wedding in my email box TODAY! Wow! So I sat at the computer and watched the show and relived my daughter’s wedding. THANK YOU.

Anna and Curtis of Curtis Knight Entertainment made the experience of finding and selecting a DJ one of the most stress-free experiences of planning our wedding; any bride knows that planning a wedding is stressful on so many levels, but never once did I have a concern, worry or doubt about our decision to go with Curtis Knight Entertainment. Any phone calls or emails were always promptly responded to, with either Curtis or Anna at the other end of the line excited and willing to answer any questions.
Working with our DJ, Ronny, much like working with the Curtis Knight office in general, was stress-free, enjoyable and fun. Ronny pays great attention to detail and organization, while also always acknowledging that he's "working" for the bride and groom; Ronny genuinely cares about the bride and groom's requests, as well as the importance of their guests having an amazing time.
Ronny was amazing! The dance floor was never empty and people partied right up until the last song. He was very cooperative in working with our photographer and the wedding day coordinator at our venue, to make sure the music for our ceremony as well as our reception was perfect.

You guys are the best. You hit the nail right on the head with the DJ you picked for us. Anytime we had a question or concern you guys were right there to help out no matter what time of the night it was. We were a little nervous about Mike, only because we hadn't met him until a week before the wedding. But our meeting with him went great and he knew exactly what we were looking for and he definitely delivered. I would definitely book him for any other family party/event that we may have.
Mike did a fabulous job at our wedding. We wanted a party, and party was what we got. Mike had everyone on the dance floor all night. Everyone raved about him. Initially, I was a little concerned about doing the shoe game and Sweet Caroline, (thinking cheesy), but it was awesome. All of our guest still talk about what fun it was. And during the bouquet and garter toss....hilarious !! Got it on video. Great time, we were sad to have the night end.

Jeanie for our event was extremely easy. I met Curtis at the Andover Country Club and later saw Jeanie as the DJ at my matron of honor's wedding and was impressed. A few emails and a meeting later and she was booked! The price for 5 hours was also very competitive. Jeanie accomodated every request I made and was very flexible. I was especially impressed with the slightly challenging song edits that she and Curtis helped us with. She also stuck to our play/do not play list, which we appreciated. Jeanie absolutely did her best and it showed.
As you can tell, we loved Jeanie and will have no problem recommending her to our last few single friends when they finally start making their wedding plans. Thank you so much to you, Jeanie, and Curtis, for being so accomodating and friendly. You were a pleasure to work with.

Dear Curtis, I received an email from Joan P. regarding answering 3 questions pertaining to the DJ on Sept. 14th. Christian gets a purple heart for all he had to put up with---especially me! Give him not a ten on all three questions but one hundred and ten! First, we had to find the electrical outlet. Did that in a downpour. Started the music. The handler for the rabbits said, "Turn it down a little. The music is scaring the rabbits." Checked the sound levels around the arena. Did that is the rain. Perfect! Christian tested the mikes. They worked perfectly! All the way into the center of the arena. (Let's use your mikes again next year.) By noon the rain stopped! With hand gestures of up, down and cut, we pulled off a barking & howling tail-waggin' afternoon. The sound was wonderful!----regardless of those first squeeks from the rabbits. The music was perfect! Christian did a doggone grrrreat job keeping up with us and announcing the different events. Hope he enjoyed going to the dogs as much as we did, and I hope he can come back again next year for "Four Paws in Action." Shirley Holdman

Comments: Mark played just about every song we requested and didn't play the songs we had on the do not play list. He definitely catered to our audience. During the reception, because the day was so overwhelming, I forgot the order we selected for the various events during the evening. Mark knew the whole order off hand without even having to look it up.

You folks made us feel right at home and were extremely professional without being pushy or arrogant. Your recommendations for the songs we couldn't decide on were right on target! Linda Lee was absolutely fantastic!!! She made the whole reception go so smooth. She even helped me bustle up the back of my dress, before entering the reception, when everyone else was having a hard time figuring it out. LOL. My dad has health problems and at the time was dealing with a problem with his leg....when it was time for the father/bride dance, she asked him about it first, which was excellent, because unfortunately he was unable to dance that day. So instead of just following the program by rote, like some people would have, which would have caused some embarassment, she discreetly came over to me and let me know without causing a scene. We were kind of anxious that the reception would have been boring, since we knew a lot of people aren't the disco dance type. Instead the night went so smooth, she kept things going in a fun and relaxed manner and the reception was over before we knew it. She made sure everything there was perfect and when the night was over, we wanted to do it all over again.

Two months later, we are still getting raves about the music, and the other fun games Linda put together. Linda, thank you for tailoring the cocktail hour music to include a bunch of Mark's requests (Grateful Dead, Moe, etc.). The dance music was great too - there were people on the dance floor all night! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

Everyone in the office went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. All questions were answered promptly and we always left feeling as though we had accomplished a lot. Mark made our night. More so than our coordinator at our venue, Mark was their to answer our questions, to offer suggestions, to ask us how we were doing and to make sure that our wedding ran as smoothly as possible. The selection of music was always appropriate and he really read the crowd well. There always seemed to be people on the dance floor, and Mark managed the events of the evening with an expertise that many disc jockeys seem to lack. He was both genuine and entertaining. We would recommend Mark to anyone in a heartbeat.

OH MY GOODNESS!!! I am giving everyone your name! Making an appointment to meet with Curtis/John was very easy and they are very accommodating. Everyone was happy and awfully nice when Will and I walked in to the office. Very welcoming! John was absolutely fantastic! When you have families from Boston and Virginia, it can be difficult sometimes to please everyone since we all could have different likes in music. NOT FOR JOHN! There was not one minute during the reception that someone was sitting. Whether it was during dinner or throughout the night, the dance floor was always busy. John was always smiling, playing requests and didn't take over the microphone (I am not a fan of DJs bringing blow-up guitars and talking all night). I have already given out recommendations for John at Curtis Knight Entertainment and will continue to do so from now on. God bless you guys-you all are a pleasure to work with and produce a perfect product!

Other than having to drive up to Billerica from Boston, everything was great. Your directions were perfect. You were prompt in your email, phone and letter responses. Everyone was friendly and helpful providing suggestions and samples for music for us to listen to. Plus, for being such a big company with lots of DJs, you definitely treated us with care as individuals and your prices were very reasonable for the service you provide. You definitely went the extra mile of trying to find the right music that we wanted. Furthermore, you had genuineness and hospitality. You greeted us warmly and enthusiastically and made us feel welcome like being at home. You weren't pushy at all to be one of our vendors for our wedding. I think what exemplifies how great your company is that you took the time to not only sit with us in person, but you put together a sample cd of an idea for our entrance song and just gave it to us with no strings attached. The attitude we felt was, "Here's a gift. If you want to hire us, great, if not, that's ok too and we still wish you the best." It was exemplary service and worth the drive. We knew we had our DJ as soon as we walked out the door.
John was AWESOME!!! He met us outside when we drove up. He kind of cracked us up when we saw him with a camera. He was right on top of things and making sure we were in the right order for the procession. He was even being our liaison to the wait staff for them to get ready because we were already to go. He kept checking in with us for pace of the reception and checked in when we wanted to do different dances or activities in the night. Plus he was flexible with us when we wanted to do whatever. He let us run things a little but at the same time we felt very relaxed about everything. In addition, he took our suggestions for music and mixed them in well and he had great presence on the mic. We had people on the floor until our time ended. He even gave us a burned CD of all of our special music for the day as a memorabilia. He made the night run smoothly and we had a blast. By far, John was probably one of our best if not the best vendor of our special day.

My party was very easy to book. The DJ was on time and everything went well. I think he did a good job dealing with my crazy family. I would recommend different games, maybe some that are easier not so long? But all in all it was a good time.

Rich was able to suit both of our personalities! During the reception he always kept us posted to as what was happening next. Working with your office couldn't have been better! Since my first inquiring information from a search online, to contacting Mark the day before the wedding, everything went without a hitch!!! Very professional, and made us feel very comfortable. I could tell from the start, Mark wanted to make us happy. He made himself available at anytime for questions, changes, etc. And was always ready to help with recommendations or to lead us in the right direction when it came to music or guest entertainment. I did not have one worry at all the whole day when it came to the DJ. And I was right, the second we walked into the reception, Mark was there all set up, with a smile on his face ready to get the party rolling! Your office has an excellent response time. I had sent an online request for info and received an email response and phone call from Anna in about an hour or so. I had previously sent a couple of online requests to another DJ company and never received any response. Also, Anna worked with me to set up a time that was convenient for us to meet with a DJ that was outside of their normal hours which was very much appreciated. We had an excellent experience working with Tricia. She did a great job helping us pick out our music. We left our initial meeting with her feeling very excited about having her as the DJ at our wedding reception. Tricia also called us several days before the wedding to check on the details and make sure that we were still okay with the music selections that we made. did an outstanding job at our reception. She played a great selection of music that kept people up dancing all night. We had many compliments on Tricia from our guests as well. We would definitely recommend her to others.

The experience was great. I couldn't say any negative things about the booking meeting with Curtis and the subsequent meetings with Mark Cherone. Curtis was very informative about the hours, money, and type of DJs they had that first meeting. The contract was very clear and quite colorful and had all the information we needed. The price for the DJ/hours was extremely affordable compared to other businesses we investigated. Mark Cherone was fantastic! The initial meeting with him went extremely well. His customer service skills are great - he was nice, totally focused on us, and provided a comfortable atmosphere (offering us water, trying to get the hot room cooled down, etc). Since we had never hired a DJ before, Mark came up with some great ideas (cocktail hour baroque music, a pause between the ceremony bridal party and bride march song for a more dramatic introduction, etc) and provided many song samples. He was very patient while we listened to each song (sometimes more than once) and made our decisions. He was very flexible - he was open to the type of music we wanted and when we wanted certain songs to be played. He was able to take any ideas we had and run with them to make things applicable and better. He was very professional in how he handled the entire situation from that first meeting to the day of the wedding.
His email interaction after the initial meeting was great as well. Any questions or updates I had, I always got a quick and friendly response. Once down to the final days, we had several phone meetings, and he was great over the phone. He went over any updates to make sure that everything was the way we had wanted. He was genuinely looking forward to performing at our wedding.
Mark is a great DJ with good song choices and the centerpiece give away was fun. He took time out before we started to make sure he knew the correct order of who was walking down the aisle and made sure he knew how to say everyone's name correctly. It was hard since most of them were Italian, but he got them all down. At one point, the bridal consultant accidentally changed the order, and Mark was able to adapt and rearrange things quickly and correctly.
We had quite a few children at the wedding which were all dancers and he played the right kind of music to keep them up there to dance, which kept everyone entertained.
I can't say enough great things about Mark. He was an awesome DJ. Give him a bonus!

I was going to call you. Mark was FABULOUS!!!! Seriously, there wasn't an empty spot on the dance floor all night. He knew exactly what song to play next to keep the dance floor hopping. I got numerous compliments from my guests (80) about the music. I've given your name to a few of the guests as well as to the Porthole Pub in case they get asked: 'do you know a good dj'?? You were very professional each time I spoke to you and answered all my questions!! I've personally used Curtis Knight twice and will be using you in the future! TENs ALL AROUND!!!!!!
