Absolutely, unequivocally the best aspect of the wedding planning process and the wedding itself was the hiring of, and working with, Curtis and Anna. We looked at other high end DJs. What differentiated Curtis and Anna was: extreme responsiveness (usually within an hour), knowledge (what typically works well at weddings), positive attitude, user friendly website that incorporated all aspects of ceremony and reception, willingness to do anything to make the day work (well beyond DJ duties). As you've probably read from other reviews, our guests were similar in that for weeks we received many compliments about our DJ. One unique thing that Curtis/Anna did was take pictures themselves (in addition to our separate photographer) and took a USB stick from our photographer, and put pictures from various sites we had taken pictures earlier in the day and display them during the reception. That was a big hit. More than anything, the two of them took away stress from the whole day and the planning process in general.

This is my 3rd time booking an event with Curtis Knight and my 1st time for a corporate event. As always, the process is so easy! Everything is straight forward on the website for pricing. No hidden costs! Also, Curtis is quick to get back to any questions you have and in no time my event was booked! Paying for my event was also hassle free because I could use the online planner and payment system with our corporate credit card, so I never had to worry about cutting checks and mailing them. This was the easiest part of planning for our company holiday party! Mark Cherone was our CKE Team Member and he was AMAZING! I selected him as the DJ for our event because I had used him before for my wedding last fall and we also saw him DJ my sister-in-law’s wedding a few years ago too. He is fabulous and really knows how to meet all of your needs! During my wedding, we had a huge dance crowd and Mark worked out great for that event. However, I was a little nervous for my company party because I knew our employees are not big dancers, but it worked out great! Mark selected music that had a good beat and he kept it at a nice sound level so you could enjoy the music and still hold a conversation with someone. He even had a great suggestion for the raffles we had….we did a DANCE OFF! Our employees had so many laughs watching this and it really got everyone involved. We were so pleased that Mark suggested this. We have received numerous compliments already about how they loved the music and wanted to know the name/company the DJ worked for. I could not recommend Mark enough. I plan on using him many more times in the future! As I mentioned above, Mark also was the DJ for my wedding which was great because we have so many friends that love to dance and we nonstop danced all night! However, the employees at my company are not big dancers and I was wondering how that was going to work out. Mark is such an amazing DJ that he is able to work the room with both types of groups: those that dance and those that don’t. He can keep the dancing going with all of our friends/family at our wedding or he can play great music that sits well in the background while you are trying to have conversation amongst co-workers. It takes a phenomenal DJ to be able to work both sides like Mark is able to do. I can’t thank him enough for all he did both the night of our wedding and also last Friday night at my company party! THANKS MARK!!!! Also, thank you Curtis and Anna for running such an amazing company! I can’t wait to work with you again someday soon.

Everyone had a great time and their professionalism and balance of games for the kids and dancing for everyone worked perfectly. During dinner the music level was just right so we could talk and enjoy one another's company. Curtis and Anna went above and beyond to make this evening so special. Their ideas were outstanding and they were also sensitive to what we wanted and really listened. They are pros and we highly recommend them. Everyone loved the music and we have some guests with fairly eclectic tastes. It was perfect.

This was the 7th annual event and everyone said by far this was the best. Thanks Curtis and Anna for making that happen. We raised the most money in any year thanks to you. The up lights were incredible and were well worth it. During the slide show the background music was perfect and threw out the night the music selection was great. Loved “ the final countdown” when it was time to close down a silent auction section folks ran to bid one last time. I know when my daughter gets married I know who to call. Thanks again for making this a wonderful and successful night.

Everyone in the office was great to work with. Curtis was especially courteous and diligent about finding the right dj for us. Christian was great. During our meetings we walked through each step of the ceremony and how the night was going to be scheduled out. We were very confident going into the wedding ceremony/reception that everything was going to go according to plan. Christian mc'd the night step by step, just as he said he would. He nailed every step. It was a very fun night and it was a great help with Christian keeping the night going. The only downside was that it was over too soon!!! haha. We just used Curtis Knight Entertainment for our wedding in September. They were great! Before we even picked them as our DJ, they met with us and we had pretty much everything planned. After we left our meeting, we decided to go with Mark at CKE. From the time of our meeting to our wedding date, Mark and Curtis both kept in touch with us on a regular basic. They also coordinated with our other vendors and our wedding coordinator to make sure everything ran smoothly. They cared if we were having fun...and we both did. We had an amazing night! I danced the ENTIRE night! And loved every minute of it. We received comments from our friends and family that they loved the music he was playing throughout the night (and he picked all of it himself, minus our dance songs). I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ (or any of the other services they provide), and would use them again in the future if we needed a DJ.

Curtis Knight Entertain provided us with Mark Cherone as our DJ. He turned out to be the best thing we could have asked for. We had no idea what we were getting into and after meeting with Mark, that overwhelming feeling was gone. Mark new just the right questions to ask. He offered great suggestions when we were stumped for a song, which was often!! He arrived early, set things up and was ready to go without a word from us. He stuck to the plan and when we changed things up, right in the middle of the wedding, he went with the flow. He didn't miss a beat. He was great with the guests. He kept myself and my husband aware of what was happening and gave us plenty of notice for when we were needed on the dance floor. His selection of songs were perfect and everyone had a blast! I can't provide a higher recommendation from the contact I had with Curtis or Mark. They were both worth every penny!!

We used CKE for our ceremony and reception music for our wedding and was such a good choice! We had Christian as our dj an met him a couple of months out and knew then that we had found our dj. He was easy to talk to, listened to our request, and just knew what kind of music would be good to play. And he was good. Our dance floor was packed the whole time and he got so many compliments from our guests. He's also very nice and professional to work with.
Another positive of CKE was their website, which made it so easy to request songs and plan out the day. They were a delight!

Hi Curtis! Working to book the event was a lot more awesome than I thought it would be. I thought we would just go over what the packages included and you would send us on our merry way, but the amount of detail we went into really helped us visualize the entire night. You and Anna also showed us your personalities, which was one of the biggest deciding factors in why we chose CKE… Love it! All of the team members were extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. Curtis and I emailed regularly and he always responded within 12 hours to whatever questions or concerns I had at the moment. Anna was a wonderful DJ – all the guests said the music and dancing was some of the best they had experienced. Andrew and Nikki called me a day or two before the wedding to go over last minute details and introduce themselves, as did our videographer. It really helped make me feel more at ease with how the day was going to go. I never met our lighting tech, but I was super impressed with our club-like atmosphere. I think every single team member gets what Curtis would say is an A++. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding ceremony or reception. All the guests I’ve talked to said that this was one of the best weddings they’ve ever been to, and that’s in large part to you guys. So thank you all for being the best vendors ever! From the moment I met you both at the Tewksbury Country Club at a wedding expo back in 2010 I have been blown away with your professionalism and your attention to detail. You both were the only vendor throughout my whole wedding planning experience that made me feel like I wasn't "just another bride or wedding". And even though we are just another wedding, you gave it that personal touch that made us feel so comfortable and that the focus was entirely on us. Every meeting, email and online planning tool was so extremely helpful and made us feel confident that we were going to rock that wedding.. and we absolutely did!
I am so glad that I booked the photobooth, everyone loved it as I'm sure you can see from the crazy videos! I thought Greg was great and he certainly helped keep everything in order. I hope some of my friends didn't scare anyone in there! I just wish I knew that there would be props, or I wouldn't have bought my own, but it worked out perfectly! I hope Greg gets great use out of the signs that I made (if he even kept them after the wedding), but absolutely the best photobooth pictures I have ever seen!
Our guests are still raving about what a great time they had, they loved every little detail and thought you guys were amazing. I will be writing a great review for sure on any and every wedding website I can find. I have lots of soon to be brides that will be getting your referral as well! I almost wish I could plan another wedding because you both were a gem to work with ;)

The experience working with your office was one of the least stressful parts of wedding planning. Everyone was unbelievably responsive and reassuring, so we could relax and not stress about this part of the wedding. You all were also patient about the game-time decision about whether the event would be outdoors and whether there would be power at the park or not!
Working with John was great. From the first meeting, he had great ideas and suggestions and also was very open to our suggestions and the ways we wanted to tailor the event to our personalities and traditions. John and Sandra did an absolutely wonderful job with our event. They did a great job checking in with us and the wedding planner to make the night run seamlessly. One relative sends her compliments that after asking about what a song was, Sandra found her out on the dock and let her know! People danced the whole night, including some of the strangest combinations of friends and relatives. We got so many compliments on the music selection, and a lot of people said it was one of the most fun weddings they've been to. We definitely feel like we made the right choice!

Hi Mark, Thank you so much for your hard work at our wedding! You did an awesome job with the music selection and it made the wedding even more enjoyable. So many people came up to me during the wedding and commented on you playing one great song right after the other and I totally agreed! We had a blast dancing and didn't want the night to end. My family commented on how Mark played one great song after the other and we all appreciated his warmth and professionalism. An example of what I loved about Mark, was with his timing of playing the songs we listed as "must plays". I had asked to play Jim Croce's "You Don't Mess Around With Jim" (my Dad's name is Jim) and he asked if he could play it right before he announced the father/daughter dance. I thought this was a great idea, one I never would have thought of on my own, and it was the perfect song to bring attention to my Dad before going into our dance. Michael, the videographer, also did a great job and at times we totally forgot we were being filmed. He was very professional as well but personable and very friendly which we really enjoyed.
From the very beginning it was a pleasure working with Curtis and his Team; from the online inquiry, to meeting in person for the booking, to the calls the week of to make sure that the song list was exactly what we wanted. Curtis Knight Entertainment was incredible to work with. From the moment I requested information I felt comfortable. We met and ended up requesting Mark Cherone as our DJ. He is unbelieveably talented at reading a crowd! I was super impressed with how organized and professional he was, and how he took care of all the little details that I would have forgotten. CKE has the best DJ preparation sheet online, and it made planning that part of my wedding super easy. CKE was responsive, and really helped us out, with song suggestions and options for just about anything you can think of. I have not heard a single comment that was anything other than positive for our DJ, and in my family, that's impressive. I would use CKE over and over again. Definitely cannot wait for the next CKE event!

Curtis & Anna were our DJs for our wedding. From our first meeting, we felt so comfortable. They were the only DJs we met with who got us truly excited for our wedding day. Their energy & enthusiasm for what they do is so apparent, and we trusted them completely. We gave them our list of songs, some that they helped us select, and told them what we liked & didn't like. They took this information, plus what they knew about our personalities from our meetings, and put together an amazing day! Everything went smoothly. We were right in trusting them: they knew what they were doing, we went with the flow even when we weren't quite sure what they had up their sleeve. Our guests had the BEST time!! Probably the best compliment I got was from one of my bridesmaids who said she always hated weddings, but our wedding taught her that they can actually be fun!
As for the video, the videographers were super discreet, we didn't even know they were there most of the time. The video & highlight reel are both fantastic and a great keepsake. We are really glad we got the video. My mother, still, 6 months later, watches it daily! Thank you Curtis Knight for an unforgettable day!! Greg Gervais was wonderful. On time, consummate pro, picked great songs, the music was at the right levels, great on the mic announcing the many stages of the wedding, cued up all the songs perfectly, and handled all our multicultural aspects wonderfully, kept all ages dancing all night, and most challenging of all, he didn't get flustered by some drunk guest that kept requesting all sorts of stuff, he took it all in stride and went above and beyond to keep the guest entertained and into the music. He had a smile all the time, and made the night one to remember. he was 100% instrumental to our joy and happiness that night. I will gladly recommend him and your service to friends and family.

Hi Curtis!! I'm so sorry I haven't emailed you sooner!! It was certainly not for lack of a superb job of all CKE employees. I've just been working crazy overtime trying to pay off all our wedding debts haha. I just want to tell you how ecstatic I was about the wonderful job of all 3 of your team members at the wedding!! We were blown away at their level of professionalism and the wonderful energy all 3 of them brought to our special day. Mark and Alex were wonderful as DJ's. Mark was just as great as all the reviews made him out to be and I can't wait to add to the glowing reviews. He was fabulous and our guests had a blast because of his talents! Alex did a great job at the after party and was so gracious even when a few drunk karaoke singers didn’t want to give up the mic at the end of the night. He was a great sport!!! And Joel, although he was behind the camera he also did a wonderful job and was a joy to have there! Dealing with your company for the year and a half leading up to the wedding and through the event was a joy and CKE was certainly the most pleasant vendor we dealt with beginning to end :) Like I said, I've been crazy busy with work but as soon as it slows down I can't wait to write up some fabulous reviews!! Working to book the event was a lot more awesome than I thought it would be. I thought we would just go over what the packages included and you would send us on our merry way, but the amount of detail we went into really helped us visualize the entire night. You and Anna also showed us your personalities, which was one of the biggest deciding factors in why we chose CKE… Love it!
All of the team members were extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. Curtis and I emailed regularly and he always responded within 12 hours to whatever questions or concerns I had at the moment. Anna was a wonderful DJ – all the guests said the music and dancing was some of the best they had experienced. Andrew and Nikki called me a day or two before the wedding to go over last minute details and introduce themselves, as did our videographer. It really helped make me feel more at ease with how the day was going to go. I never met our lighting tech, but I was super impressed with our club-like atmosphere ! I think every single team member gets what Curtis would say is an A++. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding ceremony or reception. All the guests I’ve talked to said that this was one of the best weddings they’ve ever been to, and that’s in large part to you guys. So thank you all for being the best vendors ever!
And on an unrelated-ish note – Eric and I weren’t able to make it down to drop off the marriage license yesterday, but Eric said he would make a trip out today to do that. [ Curtis was the JP and must sign and execute the marriage decree ] Thank you again so much for everything!!!! ~Becky

We had DJ Mark Cherone and couldn't be happier with the service he provided us! This was for a 2nd wedding reception (for our east coast friends & family who couldn't make it out west) and we wanted some of the wedding traditions but not all because it was the 2nd-he was able to get and keep big groups on the dance floor the entire night. Mark was professional throughout but also easy to talk to and he checked in periodically to make sure things were going the way we had envisioned-which they ABSOLUTELY did! The range of music was fabulous-Patsy Cline for our 80+ year old uncle and the newest pop songs for our teenage cousins. And for an added bonus to how great he was-we did a flash mob dance with our wedding party (which was a repeat from the 1st reception but we had managed to keep it hush hush for the most part) and a few guests said that our DJ totally sold the idea that "oh no, their 1st dance was messed up in the middle of the song" as he acted out the part as well! I hope there's video of it. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Mark again!

HI CKE and Molly!!! It was the best party EVER!!! OMG! I just entered a review on the wedding wire so I hope we win the grand prize trip to Hawaii! We totally booked with you based on nothing but online reviews..I'm very skeptical when it comes to paying for things without a personal knowledge on how good or bad it could be. This was particularly dicey since our whole wedding day needed to be one big fiesta! Everything leading up to the day was phenomenal - Curtis and Mark were so laid back and easy to schedule a meeting with for the first time and the website was super easy to use and gave us time to think about everything we wanted to dance to! Mark was awesome at the event and tired us all out! I can't believe how much we all danced! Mark made sure that everything was done just perfectly! Curtis Knight Entertainment was AMAZING!! With so many different vendors to coordinate to make our day special, having CKE handle four of them was absolutely amazing. We hired Curtis Knight for a DJ for the wedding, What I feared would be a boring event turned out to be a wonderful wedding, because of Curtis. He and his partner, Anna, did a wonderful job. Very imaginative, thoughtful, considerate, and just did a wonderful job. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with their work.
Within a half hour of taking photos, they were posted on a video display at the wedding- he just has a high tech approach with a human feel to it. He was attuned to the people, knew just what to do, and when, completely unobtrusive, in fact, almost invisible the whole time. Yet, he managed to control the event and make if fun and enjoyable for all.

Hey Curtis! How are you my friend?! Di and I (the newlyweds!) are back from the amazing honeymoon and settled into the normal life again. First things first, Anna & you did an absolutely amazing job! Spot on and seriously… over the top! Amazing! Everyone we have talked with and reflected on that day were full of positive comments about how super the DJ Team was. My father hasn’t stop mentioning you. In fact, every time the big day comes up, he says, “Oh my god, the DJ, music, the TVs broadcasting the pictures (huge hit with many; thank you man!), they were unbelievable!” Picture the Italian in him pouring out while he’s talking you both up, with the arms flailing and facial expressions deep with emotion. He loved you guys… we loved you guys.. lots of love my friend! Honestly, everyone had nothing but great comments and praise for you both. Your extreme attention to detail, how prepared you both were… it all really showed just how awesome the Curtis Knight machine can make an already special event just that much more perfect, almost the perfect polish & finish. The whole event was just amazing and Diane and I were extremely pleased with your service. As for me personally… thanks so much for the heads up on reminding me to SIT & EAT! That was huge. CKE was a pleasure to work with. The initial phone call / planning was very comfortable for me and left no doubt that the forthcoming interaction would be low stress : - ). I appreciated the email notifications and the online ability to make requests. What was even more rewarding was that those online notes were actually available to Anna; in other words, the system worked in an age where sytems have good intentions but notoriously don't deliver the value expected. So, kudos for that functionality. Anna was a joy to work with and so eager to please. I feel bad that she proposed a handful of games that Rita and I may have reacted hesitant toward, but now I regret not asking Anna to do more games. The GUITAR game was great and the Newspaper game sounds like something I would have liked to do.
Anna, thank you for playing the songs I requested, playing songs from my wedding and reminding us all how do to do the line dances. Your voice was so clear and garnered peoples attention when needed.

Curtis and Anna are a pleasure to work with, and make you feel like old friends every time you touch base. Working with Mike was a pleasure. I told him what I was hoping for, and I'd leave it up to him to make it happen. He delivered even more than I expected even when communication got crossed, and made the transition seamless. Mike absolutely did his best, I felt like I was working with a mini Curtis! He was there to make sure my event was successful and I knew it! Curtis, this event was very much like my wedding, even though that event went by the wayside, and the all that remains are the memories. Even though my marriage didn't last, the reception is still talked about to this day. I have a feeling this party will be talked about for years to come as it was such a huge success. CKE DJ: Christian Furze Couldn’t have made it easier. We were nervous going
into the initial meeting, but both Curtis Knight and our DJ Christian
were awesome to work with. They both made us feel very comfortable
and went over a number of different questions about the wedding
to make sure that it was exactly what we wanted… not what
is “traditional”. The website made it very easy to add
songs and make payments. There were no flaws in the booking process.
Christian put us at ease. A lot of wedding vendors that we worked
with were not too helpful. We didn’t know what questions we
should even be asking. But Christian took us step by step on what
we need to know or choose from when it came to the songs during
the ceremony, cocktail hour, introductions, etc. Without his insight,
there would have certainly have been some dull and missed. He knew
exactly what we wanted (most important) and what was working to
keep everyone dancing and having fun at the reception. It was the
best day of our lives and Christian was a HUGE part of that. Everyone
was having such a good time that a number of different people went
around to collect money so that we could keep him there for a couple
more hours. I feel bad that he got home so late because of us, but
we had an unbelievable time.

switch from my current DJ to your company. You just "got it."
And the longer we worked with you the more I realized your actions
spoke even louder than your words. You meant what you said. You
were also very generous in finding ways to thank me and my husband
for our service in the military. Thank you for making your passion
into a company because when you care as much as you do, it shows.
Ronny Perrin is a great guy who also happens to be a wedding DJ.
I knew I made the right choice when the day before the wedding I
called him to set up music for a slideshow (a very last minute request).
Even though I was calm in my demeanor he somehow knew I must be
anxious. He took the request and reassured me it was no big deal,
it was going to be great. The pressure I felt melted away. We are
a military family and though we don't expect such generosity, we
are always very grateful for those who are grateful for us. Thank
you again Ronny. I found him to be personable, easy-going, flexible,
experienced, and funny! We had several people tell us it was the
best wedding they had ever been to. A large part of setting the
tone of the wedding is the DJ so he set us up for success! We loved
the creative twist on the classic wedding games and many people
complimented him on "the shoe game." The big group hug
at the end was also a fantastic touch. Oh and we can't forget the
impromptu karaoke. HAHA. Such a fun and unforgettable night. It
was wonderful working with you, Ronny. THANK YOU!!! Steve Clements,
our videographer, was also wonderful to work with. It's tough to
feel a camera on you and guests mentioned that they felt comfortable
with him so in turn they didn't feel so put on the spot. He was
always ready for me and guests to move him to the next great moment
we wanted captured. I won't forget the moment when my 3 year old
son was dancing on a chair and I ushered Steve over to grab the
shot. He said "always grab me when you see something. I'll
come right over." My son then proceeded to get so excited by
it all that he threw a punch towards his cousin's head. I had to
correct him (on camera!) and after me and Steve laughed he said
"don't worry. I'll edit that part out." haha. phew! He
also made a great team with our photographer. It was an evening
wedding and when we were running out of light to take outside photos
he stayed around and let the photographer usher him around which
made for some AMAZING shots. BIG THANK YOU for being so flexible
and easy to work with. All around great guy!
As stated above I feel Curtis set me up with an unbeatable team.
Me and my husband had a great time at the wedding as did the guests.
And I feel that CKE absolutely performed to the best of their ability
to make our wedding night a great one! GO TEAM!

from the song list; even the dog, Molly entertained us with her
singing! Love her! Curtis and Anna are very easy to work with. They
complement each other; Curtis is animated and Anna is calm. People
would be wise to listen to them and take their advice; they know
how to create a great party experience for the wedding guests. Curtis
and Anna are a very professional team and you can tell they LOVE
what they do; they come prepared and they setup without you being
aware they are doing it and the best part is they hand you a cd
at the end of the night with pictures that Curtis had taken during
the event. He even setup a big screen and rolled the pictures he
had taken all night long and it was a free value added feature!
The wedding guests all had a great time and didn't want the night
to end; everyone was up and on the dance floor all night! Thank

We had a great time at the wedding... Christian was the best. Booking
our event was very easy. You always responded right away when I
emailed you and we felt you were one of the most organized vendors
we had. Working with Christian was great. He has that great DJ voice

us feel very comfortable and let us know the flow of the reception.
I think Christian did a great job at the wedding. He was on time

Even our photographer made the comment that it felt like there were
200 people at the wedding instead of 128 since there were so many

I’ll just start by saying CURTIS AND ANNA ARE AWESOME!!
From beginning to end, they made me feel as though I was their number
one priority. The service I received from them was excellent, and
I cannot imagine their being anybody better in the business!
I truly cannot thank them enough for all of their patience in making
all of the edits I requested to our Love Story and Slide Show. Although
any version would have been fine, they knew that I was looking for
a specific thing, and never complained once. Instead they just helped
me get the presentation to the place I wanted, so that my day would
be perfect. I truly cannot thank them enough for all of their cooperation
with my husband’s schedule as well (he is in the military,
and in a different state).
EVERYBODY that I have talked to since our wedding said that my DJs
were awesome- and they were right! Curtis and Anna kept the night
flowing with activities and dancing and made sure everyone was having
a great time. They kept me on a time line, they kept me informed
on what was going on, and on the day of my wedding I knew that it
was the one day that I didn’t have to worry about a thing
because I had the two of them on my team. They worked phenomenally
with my photographer/videographer and my banquet staff, and made
sure that everything was perfect for my husband and I. They were
just awesome!
I got the video from my photographer/videographer the other day
and watched the entire thing! In every clip, EVERY single guest
is smiling and having a great time, and I know a large part of that
had to do with Curtis and Anna!
If you are looking for a DJ who is going to cater to your every
need, and make your wedding day absolutely perfect, take this little
piece of advice and go with Curtis and Anna. They are awesome at
what they do, and WONDERFUL people to work with!"

can now give you a further review of the day/planning process..........Admittedly,
we were not the best clients with my fiancee working nights and
with me working days, so it was very hard for us to get together
to choose music or consult with Rick. We contacted him a few weeks
before but were missing many of the special music selections for
cake cutting, first dance, etc. Rick made some suggestions for the
music selections and asked us to describe how we wanted the overall
feel of the wedding to be. We wanted a fun, upbeat ceremony and
we wanted people on the dance floor. Rick was able to take this
information and turn our celebration into exactly what we wanted
it to be! The night went off perfectly, and Kate and I could not
have been happier with Rick and the music selections. He even agreed
to stay for an extra half hour on very short notice to keep the
party going, which was key to our guests enjoyment! I
would definitely recommend Rick for anyone looking for an excellent
wedding DJ. He was professional, polite, and was able to gauge the
crowd perfectly and we are so very happy we went with Curtis Knight!

After our original inquiry, we received a prompt reply and phone
call with all the information we needed and quickly arranged a meeting.
We found CKE to be very easy to work with, organized, and attentive
throughout the entire process leading up to the our wedding. CKE
did a wonderful job matching us with DJ Rolling Rick Colbourne for
our wedding. We felt immediately comfortable and trusting of his
expertise in music selection and timing. We appreciated his extra
attention within the final weeks leading up to the event, suggestions

Rick was very prepared and organized, working together with our

me a bite to eat as well. When the four of us met that time in the
office I remember you saying that one of you would have your eyes
on me the entire time but in such a conspicuous way as to not make

We had a great experience with Jeanie and Steve! The whole process
was smooth from the first visit, to payment, to the event. I like
the online process because I was able to keep track of the songs
I was picking, our payments, I could write down the names of our
wedding party, and make sure the details for the time/venue were
correct.
I liked that we were able to meet with both Curtis and Jeanie. You
run a very friendly business and I will recommend you to my friends
or anyone that is looking for a vendor for an event. I corresponded
with Jeanie over email after our first meeting up until the wedding
date. Jeanie and Steve were both wonderful. Jeanie is a great DJ
not only because of how she is with the music, but the way she gets
the crowd involved as well. We had a tough venue because there was
so much to do (volleyball, horseshoes, games, etc) Even with so
much going on, there were always people on the dance floor because
of Jeanie! Steve was great as well. We received our [ highlight
] video [ online ] a little while ago and have already watched it
MANY times! We love it! They even edited our introduction song which
I'm sure wasn't an easy task :o)
If I had to give a suggestion, I would say it would be great if
we could put more song suggestions on the website. For 5 hours of
reception time, I easily chose more than 20 songs. I ended up emailing
Jeanie my list of requested songs, which was fine and she was great.
[ We took her suggestion to heart. Up until Julie’s note you
could request a maximum of 100 songs. F Y I, A 6 hour event features
about 90 songs total, able to be played in that time frame. Nonetheless,
we have expanded our limit of requests from 100 to 150 ! ]

Curtis and Ronny, Jill and I just got back from our honeymoon and
I wanted to give you the full evaluation from the night. Let me
know if you have any other questions. Curtis was very good at asking
me about what I wanted out of the night, listening to my answers
and discussing options with me and finding me a great match in a
DJ. Ronny did a fantastic / amazing / unbelievable job with our
wedding reception. The party had energy for the entire night even
though it lasted for 7 hours. People were on the dance floor right
from the beginning and stayed on until the end. Ronny did a great
job working in the various planned events of the night, such as
the parent dances and bouquet tosses, without having them disrupt
the flow of the night. The schedule was changed a few times, such
as when the bridal party arrived late, or when we had to delay the
parent dances, and Ronny adjusted perfectly to make sure everyone
continued to have a great time and never let them realize anything
was going different than planned. Ronny met with us before the event
and got a very clear picture of what we wanted out of the music
and environment, and the resulting package he put together was even
more perfect than what I could have imagined or tried to describe.
He was very personable and entertaining whenever he was on the microphone
and all of the guests loved him. He directed and guided us and our
bridal party through anything we needed to do and made sure we were
always having a good time. Even though we had discussed the plan
for the night ahead of time, once it had started, I didn't need
to think about anything and could just enjoy the night while he
choreographed it all and told us when we needed to do something
specific. The music selection was spot on with what we had discussed,
it was all put together to keep the energy up for the entire night,
and the dance floor was literally filled from our first to our last
dance and beyond. It was by many other people's accounts the most
fun they've had at any wedding they had been too.
I can't think of anything else I would have liked to have seen or
done differently, and I would recommend CKE and Ronny specifically
to anyone.

As you probably, Robin & I had our 25th anniversary recently
which culminated with a surprise party (& 50th B-day party)
on Saturday night. We were surprised, shocked, floored...use whatever
adjective you'd like; It was an unbelievable night. The most fun
I've had in a long time. Just wanted thank you for all that you
did helping out my girls. That birthday song was unbelievable. Jeanie,
was excellent. A tremendous time was had by all.

we made to use Curtis and Anna. The planning was so easy and whenever
Mike or I emailed, we would receive a response almost immediately.
They were so friendly and helpful and really got the crowd engaged.
All of our guests had an amazing time and we got phone calls immediately
on how great they were! Curtis was right there from the time Mike
and I stepped out of the Rolls Royce and captured a lot of great
pictures. I especially liked the pictures played during dinner.
Working with them was wonderful and they made sure we were taken
care of the entire night. Thank you so much! We can't wait to see
the pictures and video :) I would highly recommend Curtis and Anna
to anyone who is getting married or just looking for great DJs!!

Hello Curtis!
We're back from our honeymoon, recovering from jet lag & trying
to settle back into reality of "the rest of our lives"
!! We cannot thank you, John and Sandra enough for an event well
done... we continue to receive compliment after compliment about
how much fun our wedding was. If the guests are just saying that
to be nice, then they wouldn't be repeating themselves over and
over again.... they also wouldn't be spreading the word: -->
Steve and I bumped in to our photographer's dad at the local diner
yesterday & even he mentioned that his son thought our wedding
was one of the best he's ever been to.
The word is out. Our wedding was incredibly fun & it's largely
thanks to John & Sandra Maurodas and their masterful ability
to read our crowd and provide nothing but flawless, spot-on, ambiance
for each phase of our celebration.
Steve and I are ever grateful to them and to your company.. from
the very start with my visit to your office in Billerica where Aunt
Alma was thrilled to join you in breakfast... to using the invaluable
planner provided to us on line. There were so many times that a
thought or a song would come fleeting into my head - and, instead
of forgetting to call you or email and losing the thought, I'd simply
log on to my planner and write it out! Done! Didn't have to think
about it again.
The planner was our directory, guideline to what would happen every
step of our day ahead... Throughout our engagement, Steve &
I would log on, talk about the wedding together and make decisions
when we were ready to - day or night, weekday or weekend.... ....if
we didn't have the answer at that moment, we could log out &
re-group whenever. Because of that flexibility, we requested all
the songs we wanted, we planned all the details we wanted.. neither
one of us has said... "Gee, I wish we played this song"
or "Bummer, I forgot to request that" ---
We had such a fun time using the planner too - we discussed, we
laughed, we dreamed about what our wedding day would be like.. and
*poof* your company put it all together and made it happen.
Now, we have even more fun talking and laughing and remembering
what a great time it was. Now that we're back from the honeymoon,
we're immensely enjoying the comments, compliments and raves of
our guests.... we're high-fiving all over the place!!
I know that your goal is to please every bride and groom, every
graduate, every guest-of-honor of events that you guys host.. and
I must say that you well exceeded our expectations... Our event
was wonderful - a dream-come-true.. and we are forever thankful
to you guys for providing us with that ever-delicate atmosphere...
John & Sandra moved with the crowd.. inspired everyone to let
go, enjoy and have an outstanding time at our wedding.

I fell in love right away. I knew from the moment I meet him I was
going to have him for my DJ even if it meant changing the day I
wanted to get married. Luckily I didn’t have to do that. needed
one I booked Curtis almost a year and half before my wedding. We
kept in contact every couple of months. The best part about his
service is the web page. You could go online and enter everything
you wanted right there. My wedding day was so special and ran so
smoothly thanks to Curtis and Anna. (Curtis was also my JP). They
had a crowd up and dancing all night. Anything I need they were
right there. I'm still getting messages from my guest telling me
how great my DJ was. If you are on the fence on who to hire for
a Dj (who also is a JP, he has a photographer and a Videographer).
Do yourself a favor and at least set up a meeting with them. Cant
hurt. I bet you fall in love like I did.

DJ: Rolling Rick Rick, Thanks so much for sending our playlist. We 100%
recommend DJ Rolling Rick! Rick deejayed/MCed our post ceremony
cocktail hour along with our wedding reception and knocked them
both out of the park! He worked closely with us to nail exactly
what we wanted for both (jazzy/quiet music for mingling during the
cocktail hour and a full dance floor through the whole reception)
and MCed the reception wonderfully (kept everything on point/the
ideal level of involvement.) The music for both was important to
us because it sets the mood for the occasion and Rick couldn't have
done a better job. We picked a first dance song from a live version
that needed to be edited (remove applause/talking, etc) and Rick
handled it perfectly. He took requests from my friends while respecting
our 'do not play' list. Best of all - Rick kept the dance floor
full all night by keeping his finger on the pulse of the crowd.
If we started slowing down during one song he'd quickly spin into
another to get us going again. I've never danced so much in one
night! Don't hesitate to book DJ Rolling Rick for any of your events,
you'll be so glad to have him (and his big smile) with you at your

DJ: Jeanie Clements Curtis, Working with you to book our event was extremely
easy. Your response time to my initial email and all following emails
was excellent. When the initial DJ we requested was not available
you were very good about suggesting one of your other team members
providing reviews for Jeanie and encouraging us to come in for an
initial meeting. Jeanie was amazing! She was so flexible on many
occasions. She had no problem changing the event time due to a conflict
at the church. She went even further above and beyond when I sent
her our timeline before the event which had the wedding party arriving
an hour before the official start of the reception and she made
sure that all the equipment was there and set up before we even
arrived so we were free to take pictures (which was not expected).
Also, when the grooms mother was not feeling well and couldn't do
the mother-son dance Jeanie was quick to suggest dedicating the
song to her.
Jeanie had our dance floor was packed the entire night! She put
together a great mix of music progressing from the music for the
"older generations" that was still fun for the younger
crowd all the way through top 40 music at the end of the night.
My parents and I have received numerous comments/compliments about
how great the music all the way through the last song where there
was NO ONE left in their seats (grandparents included).
At one point a waitress at the venue bumped my arm causing me to
spill my glass of wine down my dress (white wine fortunately!).
I put down my almost empty glass and went back to dancing. Almost
immediately Jeanie was at my side with a stack of napkins AND a
new glass of wine! She really went above and beyond the whole night!
I would recommend Jeanie to anyone in need of a DJ! Thank you again

to work with Curtis Knight Entertainment, and specifically, Mark
Cherone. You made booking the event so easy, and we really appreciated
how effortless it was to work with Mark. Mark took great care during
our initial meeting to find out what we were looking for in our
wedding reception and provided us with some great suggestions that
really helped get the planning process moving. We also had a lot
of fun using the CKE web planner, it helped us imagine how great
a night we were going to have. Mark gave us even more confidence
that we made the right decision after he patiently reviewed every
detail of the night with us during our final meeting.
All during our wedding night people kept coming up to me to tell
me how much they enjoyed the music and how wonderful our DJ was.
He really read the crowd perfectly, and even though I had been initially

people in the mood to dance and have a good time. Even the event
coordinator from our catering company came up to me at the end of
the night to tell me how great Mark was to work with. We really,

with you to book our event was extremely easy. Your response time
to my initial email and all following emails was excellent. When
the initial DJ we requested was not available you were very good
about suggesting one of your other team members providing reviews
for Jeanie and encouraging us to come in for an initial meeting.
Jeanie was amazing! She was so flexible on many occasions. She had
no problem changing the event time due to a conflict at the church.
She went even further above and beyond when I sent her our timeline
before the event which had the wedding party arriving an hour before
the official start of the reception and she made sure that all the
equipment was there and set up before we even arrived so we were
free to take pictures (which was not expected). Also, when the grooms
mother was not feeling well and couldn't do the mother-son dance
Jeanie was quick to suggest dedicating the song to her.
Jeanie had our dance floor packed the entire night! She put together
a great mix of music progressing from the music for the "older
generations" that was still fun for the younger crowd all the
way through top 40 music at the end of the night. My parents and
I have received numerous comments/compliments about how great the
music all the way through the last song where there was NO ONE left
in their seats (grandparents included).
At one point a waitress at the venue bumped my arm causing me to
spill my glass of wine down my dress (white wine fortunately!).
I put down my almost empty glass and went back to dancing. Almost
immediately Jeanie was at my side with a stack of napkins AND a
new glass of wine! She really went above and beyond the whole night!
I would recommend Jeanie to anyone in need of a DJ!

I had a great time, I was just talking with my dad last night and

did exactly what we wanted, was a part of the event but just enough

true! When we went in to meet them for the first time within 2 minutes
my husband and I knew they were the ones ! They were so much more
than just an ordinary vendor they were there to help me with anything
, they were my friends , they care about there clients! I got the
deluxe package which is way more than you could ever imagine it
was amazing my uplighting, my video, Curtis married us, they took
photos of my rehearsal and my wedding, created the most amazing
love story video for our grand enterancre which we recorded right
at there beautiful office in Billerica ! I could go on and on but
bottom line they are amazing :) and now I have two friends who I
love so dearly and will forever be grateful!!! Curtis I'll never
ever be able to thank you or repay you for everything without you
guys we would not have all these awesome memories I love you both
so much and I can't wait to come and see you guys !!! And I just
watched the video I'm in love I love it I cried all the way through
!!!! I have not been able to we don’t return until Sunday
from our cruise but that’s all i talk about i can’t
wait to see it we already said that’s the first thing we are
doing when we get home and can look at pictures and videos :) But

This friend works IT customer support Hi Curtis!
At work I often get to talk to people overseas. About a week ago
I was trying to help someone stationed in the Middle East who was
having trouble accessing our software. He was grumpy and I was trying
to get him in a good mood so he would go through the boring process
of troubleshooting. He told me he was from Billerica and I told
him who I knew there and he brightened right up when I mentioned
your name. He said you were the best guy in town and were a big
help to the community. After that, not only was he my friend, he
gave my number to all his coworkers if they were having problems
because he said it was so nice to hear from someone close to home
and it gave him an opportunity to talk to me again.
He says you have no idea who he is, but that sometimes when he drives
by your house he rolls down the window and shouts out "HEY
CURTIS!" So, sometime this fall if a stranger shouts at you
while driving by your house, it may be Roger Nowicki back from Afghanistan!

Anna and Curtis, We thought you were just "OUTSTANDING"!
Thanks a million! This was a last minute surprise party, and CKE
(Anna) was thorough in learning about our party, plans, and needs
to make the event a success. Anna and Curtis arrived early for set-up
(more than punctual). Anna and Curtis were professional, fun, and
very engaging with our guests. Both are highly recommended. They
were able to gauge the crowd and were very professional, even mindful
of not playing inappropriate songs in front of the few children
at the party.
We're still getting a steady stream of positive feedback about CKE.
All of our guests thought the music, lights, photography, and DJs
were excellent. Can't wait to get our CD of pictures!
A DJ can make or break a party, and I took a big chance by basing
my decision to go with CKE from the material and videos on their
website. They were priced reasonably too. As it turns out, CKE was
well worth the money and truly entertaining. They smartly played
low-key music during the dinner and then got the party going by
introducing a couple of hysterically funny games (great entertainment),
which broke the ice with a mixed group of guests (family, friends,
and work colleagues). It turns out that we should have had a bigger
dance floor to accommodate all those who wanted to let loose to
the great music. We ended up extending the party because people
wanted to keep dancing. I'm so very happy to say that CKE exceeded
all of my expectations! If ever another special occasion arises,
we certainly will call CK Entertainment.
