Corporate Events !

Corporate events can be very challenging to plan. You usually have a very diverse group, and, quite often, the guests are acquaintances rather than great friends. Our DJs are trained to work with these diverse groups and are seasoned in selecting music that will please everyone. Still, a packed dance floor can be challenging under these circumstances. If you've run into this in the past, you may run into it again in the future.

Some things that we do to help make your event a success:
The following are some things we can do to help make your corporate party a blast that your employees will talk about …and, hopefully, increase your turnout each year:

Awards and Raffles
If awards are to be given, or raffles are to be drawn, try to make them go as quickly as possible. Usually by the time cocktail hour and dinner are over, 2 1/2 hours have already passed. The guests are usually itching to get up and start dancing at this point. If you have an hour of awards after dinner, you may find that the majority of the guests will go home as soon as the awards are over, as they are now too tired to get up and dance. Try the awards during cocktail hour, or try to shorten them. Keep them as fun and interactive as possible, so your guests don't get "glued to their seats”.

Team Building Activities
We have many different activities that we like to implement towards the end of dinner before we open the dance floor. They all involve teams working together which helps get your attendees interacting with each other. Sometimes a few of these activities are all we need to get the guests loosened up just enough to get on the dance floor and have fun. We never do anything that will make an individual feel like they are in the spot light or embarrassed.

Game Show
A fun alternative (or addition) to dancing is our Game Show. If you have a group that doesn't usually dance this can keep them entertained and having fun for hours. We will go table to table towards the end of dinner as the plates are being cleared, introduce ourselves, and tell your guests about the Game Show. We will take names, and sign up your guests for the rounds. It's also fun to have the first "ice-breaker round" begin with management. We ask simple trivia questions because your guests usually have more fun trying to hit the buttons the fastest, than they do scrambling to think of a difficult answer. This is also something that can be incorporated with dancing.

Props
If you believe your guests will dance and have fun, but just need a little push, try adding props. They can add to the festive feel very quickly. Either you can add the props package for $100.00, or you can purchase them yourself. We recommend leis, maracas, hats, sunglasses and blow up instruments. Props can add a lot of fun to the atmosphere.

Photo Slide Show Presentations
Some companies like to show a slide show during dinner that either has a montage of photos from the job or a inspirational show on where the company is going or sometimes even photos from their previous get togethers.
