DJ: Caryn Russo I tried to coordinate my remarks with Margaret but she wanted to send you her own individual email.  So below are my comments.  I wrote them in 3rd person because I thought you might want to forward them on to Curtis. 
Caryn was right on time and set up very efficiently.  We weren't allowed to stay late at the venue so this issue didn't come up.  Caryn looked beautiful and elegant.  Her presentation and attire was exactly what we were looking for in a D.J. We really liked Caryn from the first time we met her, and we knew she would be a perfect match for us and our wedding.  We knew that we needed a D.J. on the quiet, low-key side, and she was perfect.  My daughter had a very non-traditional wedding and Caryn was always supportive of our ideas, even when it meant she didn't get to do some of the "traditional" things D.J.'s are accustomed to doing.  She was flexible, and helped us with our planning but without putting any pressure on us to do things the way other people might do them. 
 I had little to do with the music selection, but I think my daughter was delighted with the way the music turned out.  I was so busy talking with people that I never even got to dance, even to the songs I had picked!  I understand that other people danced and enjoyed them, however.    We would give Caryn the highest rating possible (10 out of 10!).  Not only did she do a great job throughout the day and evening, but she also had to diplomatically negotiate with a difficult function manager.  Caryn handled everything with grace and patience.  If we need a D.J. in the future, we would definitely want to have her again!

DJ: Caryn RussoCaryn did play for an additional hour with just a Big Smile and two thumbs up.  She Was a Great. She fit right in with our group.  She wa bubbly, Sweet, but in charge. We loved her and the kids flocked to her.  Bride and Groom had there songs, but she keep the dance floor full.  C.K. has the best.  Caryn was an absolute joy.  So friendly and willing to work with us on everything.  She had a lot of experience and provided us with many good suggestions as well.  She was willing to accommodate all our requests, providing it was within her ability and was appropriate for all the guests.  We were very pleased with the over-all entertainment and she was continually on top of everything to make sure all went according to giving the Bride and Groom a memorable event.  Aside from our personal selections; Caryn seemed to have a sense of what the crowd liked.  She played just the right songs that kept everything going and the dance floor was always hopping.  Personally I give Caryn an A+ for all her effort and extra nice personality.  Her willingness to please was extra special for me, because, my request entailed playing DVD's which she hooked up to her sound system.  It went over very well.... to everyone's enjoyment.    Most people think there's always room for improvement.  However, when you do something for a living, all the time, most of the kinks get ironed out pretty good.  That was the case with Caryn.  For me, it went so well that I just can't think of anything that needed improvement.  I would recommend her to anyone that would be looking for a DJ.   Thank you, Caryn for all your services, including coming to pick up the DVD's ahead of time, at my home, for testing out the system.  That was above and beyond the expectations.   Sincerely  Susan M. Hi Caryn,
Friday night was great. I have been receiving tons of e-mails thanking me for the Lovely X-Mas party. I have to tell you, every one of the e-mails that I have gotten, have all said that the DJ was great, and they enjoyed the games. They said you made it fun. So, I think that says a lot about how you did. I will respond to your questions as well. So thanks again. I have my boyfriend John's 50th coming up this summer, so I may be planning big party in a hall, and would love for you to be our DJ. I will get back to you once I know what's going on. Also, John's son just graduated from Paramedic school, and John wants to rent a hall and throw a party for him with a DJ, so, I may be calling you sooner than you think.
Caryn made it on time, but it was difficult to find. She got there and set up before the guests arrived. Caryn was dressed appropriately, black pants and shirt, and her Santa hat. Caryn was very sociable, and the guests loved her. Music selection was good. I would give her a 10 on a scale of 0 - 10.

Punctuality (and willingness to stay later if/when asked): Excellent. You were there before I was ;-)
Appearance: Professional
Personality: Good rapport with the students and faculty.
Musical Selection: The teachers had no issue with it. Most of the students seemed happy with it. Some students did voice the opinion that not enough current music was played, but these were the same ones that were mad that we wouldn't play their CD, so take that as you will. Some kids also mentioned that a few more slow songs would have been good.
Overall Rating: 9/10
Great job. Everyone had fun and you kept the night moving. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for sending Caryn for our DJ, for our 50th anniversary party. She did an excellent job! Everything worked out perfectly, except for the food. Caryn was very accommodating, and went along with everything I wanted. It worked out so well.
Also, the bagpiper web site, worked out perfectly. We got one that lived close by so he didn't charge me full price. Adam Holdaway was excellent.
