Kevin Gettings had hired DJs for parties for fundraisers and parties for years. Each time thee was an event he found himself wanting to be the Emcee. he thought he could do a great job, and he realized that he was simply telling the DJ all the things he wanted to have said and done. He broached the idea to Curtis about being a DJ and the rest is history.
