It was a pleasure to work with CKE entertainment. You made the entire process of booking our party stress free and added the personal touches that we have come to value. We can't say enough nice things about Mark Cherone. He called us a few days in advance of our event, and sought us out prior to our party to ask about name pronunciations. He also told us our planned timeline of events and announcements and provided valuable insight into when certain things should occur. Finally he is polite and very personable. I'm not sure Mark could have done anything differently that would have made a better party. He made time to get to know Caitlin, who gave a brief speech, and Jim, the father of the Bride. Hi Curtis, Joe and I could not be more happy with our choice to work with Curtis Knight Entertainment, and specifically, Mark Cherone. You made booking the event so easy, and we really appreciated how effortless it was to work with Mark. Mark took great care during our initial meeting to find out what we were looking for in our wedding reception and provided us with some great suggestions that really helped get the planning process moving. We also had a lot of fun using the CKE web planner, it helped us imagine how great a night we were going to have. Mark gave us even more confidence that we made the right decision after he patiently reviewed every detail of the night with us during our final meeting.
All during our wedding night people kept coming up to me to tell me how much they enjoyed the music and how wonderful our DJ was. He really read the crowd perfectly, and even though I had been initially reluctant to do the Sweet Caroline game, he was right that it put people in the mood to dance and have a good time. Even the event coordinator from our catering company came up to me at the end of the night to tell me how great Mark was to work with. Booking our event with your company was one of the first things we did after booking the venue.  Curtis made it totally entertaining and gave us a lot of ideas and things to play with!  We so appreciate and respect the level of professionalism, but comfort and ease that you all provided for us! 
Having Mark DJ my brother's wedding in 2007, I was pretty certain that he was our guy!  I liked his style and the way he worked with the crowd and had heard him with my own ears so I felt very confident in him.  After meeting with him, Mike said he was so happy to see how down to earth he was and willing to give suggestions, while allowing us to take some direction too!  We were thrilled with our initial meeting!
Mark is fantastic at what he does!  He kept in contact with us and wanted to make sure he captured what we were looking for.  He was great communicating with the venue to suit our needs and was so reassuring to us in the final stretch to the wedding!  He is fun and professional, and puts your mind at ease during an incredibly stressful time!
I expected the wedding day to feel like a blur but we really remember every detail!  After photos we were taken into the dining room prior to the guests.  Mark was on stage practicing family member and wedding party names!  :)  He was there to help with whatever we needed and ensured that we felt comfortable with everything going on.  Mark was wonderful when it came to checking in with us throughout the night.  he apologized for bothering us and we couldn't have felt more than the opposite!  He was there to make sure we ate something, give us the heads up on events coming up, asked for input because the timeline of wedding receptions change on a dime!  He was calming and made us feel so important and well cared for!  I never expected that from a DJ but Mark makes it a very personal thing, working with his clients.  He made sure the crowd was always up dancing and having a blast.  His music choices kept the party going the whole night, which is exactly what we wanted!  We couldn't have asked for a better DJ and company to work with.  We already updated our wedding site to ensure that all of our vendors, including Curtis Knight and Mark Cherone, got a big shout out for everything they did.  We would recommend your company a million times over!  People have already asked for referrals because it was so much fun!  Thank you soooooo much! We love you all!

We had a great experience with your office. You were very accommodating in setting up an initial meeting, and in every step of the planning process. You responded to emails quickly as well, and the website makes it easy to track/make payments, as well as to make any updates or requests. DJ Mark Cherone was great! He was very professional, both in appearance and behavior. Everyone was extremely impressed with his attention to detail (name pronunciation!), and Sean and I appreciate that when major parts of the night were approaching (cake cutting, first dances) he gave us "warnings" so that we would be prepared for the time.

Curtis was very accommodating with our requests and worked with our schedules to arrange the meeting with our DJ. DJ Mark Cherone was very flexible and went with the flow. He took our requests seriously and did everything necessary to make the reception everything we could have wanted. I especially appreciated how he never interrupted us when we were speaking with our relatives during the night of the event, and was respectful when he needed to talk to one of us. He was also there to help us with all of the details during the night. Mark went out of his way to be attentive to detail and make sure everyone had fun. We were absolutely thrilled with Mark!

Comments: Mark played just about every song we requested and didn't play the songs we had on the do not play list. He definitely catered to our audience. We were both very satisfied with the music selection throughout the night. Mark was great at communicating with us, as well as our reception venue coordinators. We felt in very good hands. During the reception, because the day was so overwhelming, I forgot the order we selected for the various events during the evening. Mark knew the whole order off hand without even having to look it up.

Comments: We feel that our DJ truly put his all into our wedding. He really tried to include every single person or type of person at the event, and he was extremely successful. We received nothing but compliments on our DJ, everyone had a good time and everyone felt a part of it, which is hard to do because there was extreme diversity at our wedding. He is a talented DJ and we are glad we got to work with him!

Everyone in the office went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. All questions were answered promptly and we always left feeling as though we had accomplished a lot. Mark made our night. More so than our coordinator at our venue, Mark was their to answer our questions, to offer suggestions, to ask us how we were doing and to make sure that our wedding ran as smoothly as possible. The selection of music was always appropriate and he really read the crowd well. There always seemed to be people on the dance floor, and Mark managed the events of the evening with an expertise that many disc jockeys seem to lack. He was both genuine and entertaining. We would recommend Mark to anyone in a heartbeat.

Working with your office couldn't have been better! Since my first inquiring information from a search online, to contacting Mark the day before the wedding, everything went without a hitch!!! Very professional, and made us feel very comfortable. I could tell from the start, Mark wanted to make us happy. He made himself available at anytime for questions, changes, etc. And was always ready to help with recommendations or to lead us in the right direction when it came to music or guest entertainment. Or adhear to our DO NOT PLAY list. Regardless of guest requests.. lol..
I did not have one worry at all the whole day when it came to the DJ. And I was right, the second we walked into the reception, Mark was there all set up, with a smile on his face ready to get the party rolling! His announcements were great, his selection of music was enjoyed by all guests, age 8-80. We had many great comments about his service, and i would reccommend his talent to anyone!! Thank you Mark for making My and Deidras day that much more special! Sorry the pictures took so long! haha..

The experience was great. I couldn't say any negative things about the booking meeting with Curtis and the subsequent meetings with Mark Cherone. Curtis was very informative about the hours, money, and type of DJs they had that first meeting. The contract was very clear and quite colorful and had all the information we needed. The price for the DJ/hours was extremely affordable compared to other businesses we investigated.   Mark Cherone was fantastic!   The initial meeting with him went extremely well. His customer service skills are great - he was nice, totally focused on us, and provided a comfortable atmosphere (offering us water, trying to get the hot room cooled down, etc). Since we had never hired a DJ before, Mark came up with some great ideas (cocktail hour baroque music, a pause between the ceremony bridal party and bride march song for a more dramatic introduction, etc) and provided many song samples. He was very patient while we listened to each song (sometimes more than once) and made our decisions. He was very flexible - he was open to the type of music we wanted and when we wanted certain songs to be played. He was able to take any ideas we had and run with them to make things applicable and better. He was very professional in how he handled the entire situation from that first meeting to the day of the wedding.
His email interaction after the initial meeting was great as well. Any questions or updates I had, I always got a quick and friendly response.  Once down to the final days, we had several phone meetings, and he was great over the phone. He went over any updates to make sure that everything was the way we had wanted. He was genuinely looking forward to performing at our wedding. 
Mark is a great DJ with good song choices and the centerpiece give away was fun. He took time out before we started to make sure he knew the correct order of who was walking down the aisle and made sure he knew how to say everyone's name correctly. It was hard since most of them were Italian, but he got them all down. At one point, the bridal consultant accidentally changed the order, and Mark was able to adapt and rearrange things quickly and correctly.
We had quite a few children at the wedding which were all dancers and he played the right kind of music to keep them up there to dance, which kept everyone entertained.
I can't say enough great things about Mark. He was an awesome DJ. Give him a bonus!

still able to pronounce everyone's name correctly. HA!!!!  He played my favorite song twice b/c I was taking pictures the first time and he showed up on time (unlike the limo). The event was great and very memorable.  I think the dedications were a little overdone (our fault) especially since they were all done 1 after the other.   The best decision was the one to do the vows in the music [ We recorded their ceremony vows in advance and then Mark played them over their first dance - very nice touch ! ].  I had people tell me they cried... Mark was great - attentive and nothing was left to chance.  It was a smooth flowing event which is what we wanted.  He was knowledgeable but still allowed us to do our own thing.   Offered some tips which worked to our advantage

We didn't realize Mathis did it and that was our First dance. Your ability to find the right Pachabel's Canon in D for me was awesome. Your attention to every little detail was amazing. The meeting we had with your office was the best we had with the 3 parties we met with. Both you and Mark were friendly and helpful, and your worksheet that we did with Mark C. during the meeting was helpful for generating the game plan. Mark was solid. He played the type of music we wanted, did great with the introductions, and passing the mike around when needed. In short, everything that we expected and were pleased to get. All the requested music was done and played as expected. We can’t think of anything that Mark did which we would change. He worked well with us and the staff at the State Room. Our only minor complaint would have been to play Living on a Prayer a bit earlier when the party was more kicking, but that’s true nitpicking. He did a great job with a crowd that we were leery of being a bunch of party poopers sitting on their hands, but the party was anything but. Thanks Again Mark!

Hey Curtis, I just wanted to drop you a line and tell you how much we appreciated all that Mark C did at our wedding on 10/14. He was very professional. At the beginning of the reception, it seemed that our wedding coordinator was not around to make sure everyone was lined up where they needed to be. Mark came out and made sure that everyone was where they needed to be and once again double checked how to say all the names. He kept people dancing all night. He was also very good at making sure that Katie and I knew exactly when things were happening, and if we needed certain events to happen sooner or later he made sure that it was okay with both of us. He played awesome music the whole night. We had one glitch with a song when the CD skipped, but Mark just turned it off and had everyone sing the rest of the song. It was pretty funny. A simple phone call was all it took. Once I received the contract and mailed it back I was done. No further follow up calls were needed. Great job. Mark was very polite to all of us. He took request and took in the consideration of all the different age groups and played music of their times. Can’t say enough of the job he did. How can you not have a good experience working with Curtis and "Extreme's Brother"! Curtis did a great job editing the song for the Mother Son dance as well. The office was amazing. We always had prompt responses from them, usually within minutes of sending a question, and they worked around our crazy schedules. It was so great working with people who know what they are doing and could help us through the process. Mark was excellent. He was extremely flexible with meeting times and very helpful picking out the perfect songs. He worked with us on length of the special songs so we knew what we should look for and expect. The dance floor was full pretty much the entire time! Mark was the first person to offer to get us a drink after we sat down for dinner. He always made sure we were around when the big events were supposed to take place and that they went off exactly as we had discussed.

The man I was to marry was in front of me, I was arm and arm with my Dad and to cap it all off- our Somewhere Over the Rainbow song by Izzy K was playing. It couldn’t have been more perfect! And dancing our last dance to it wrapped up the evening perfectly...like bookends as I remember one of you put it. Since our wedding, I’ve heard that song on the new Rice Krispies commercial, and other random places. In fact, while Jason and I were honeymooning in Maui, we heard that song over and over in stores, lu-aus and restaurants, and realized how it had now become ‘our song’. I especially appreciated that Mark was the very first one to come over to our table and offer to get us a drink! I was so impressed and appreciative that he had noticed! This went above and beyond what I would have expected…from our DJ!!! Especially with everything else he had to coordinate that night-the fact that he noticed this and offered to go out of his way was so thoughtful. Approaching us a second time 20 minutes later when we still did not have drinks, was even more over-the-top and so attentive. Thank you! The thing we received more compliments on than anything though, was the shoe game that Jason and I played-so fun! And getting all of them right!! The pictures I’ve attached were from the “who loves who more” question. And also, as you can tell, everyone LOVED the “Sweet Caroline” sing-a-long battle. Thank you for recommending the games-it wouldn’t have been the same without them! I thought you might enjoy seeing these from another perspective so you’d understand just how wonderful the whole evening was. It wouldn’t have been the same without Mark’s professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail.

Hi Curtis! It was a pleasure to have Mark DJ our wedding. I could not have asked for a better performance. Jason and I were confident that Mark would do a wonderful job-but I think he really blew our socks off in how well the entire night went. The entire night went smoothly...from transitioning the music at the ceremony guest seating to walking down the aisle with my father. The games during the reception proved to be a big hit as well! Our family and friends wouldn't stop talking about how amusing they were...and looking back at pictures from our photographer-it shows. It truly got the entire 120+ person crowd up on their feet! Mark is a very professional DJ. He knows when to speak up to get the crowd involved, and at the same time knows when to be invisible so that the bride and groom are the focus.
