DJ: Mike D Hey Mike & Curtis,  So I've been meaning to send this email for over two months now, but you know how busy goes and time flies...I just wanted to say THANK YOU to both of you guys for being so great with everything, from day one of the wedding planning to the last dance. When it came to our plans, everyone - I mean, EVERYONE - asked right away, "Who DJs a DJ's wedding?" lol  After seeing your performance at Saun and Rania's wedding back in 2007, it was never a question that you would perfectly suit our ideal entertainment wishes for the big day. And as I originally mentioned, I'm not one of those guys who goes to another wedding or event and critiques every single thing the DJ does... but even more important than being a DJ myself, as an absolute music fanatic, I had a lot of special plans and expectations of how the day's soundtrack would play out. (You probably don't play "Ante Up" at too many receptions! lol) With that being said, we couldn't have been any happier with everything, Mike. You guys are the best. You hit the nail right on the head with the DJ you picked for us. Anytime we had a question or concern you guys were right there to help out no matter what time of the night it was. We were a little nervous about Mike, only because we hadn't met him until a week before the wedding. But our meeting with him went great and he knew exactly what we were looking for and he definitely delivered. I would definitely book him for any other family party/event that we may have.
Mike did a fabulous job at our wedding. We wanted a party, and party was what we got. Mike had everyone on the dance floor all night. Everyone raved about him. Initially, I was a little concerned about doing the shoe game and Sweet Caroline, (thinking cheesy), but it was awesome. All of our guest still talk about what fun it was. And during the bouquet and garter toss....hilarious !! Got it on video. Great time, we were sad to have the night end.

I really like sitting down with him and having him play samples of the ceremony music while we were trying to figure out what to play. Comments: Curtis and Anna were extremely helpful and on the ball with scheduling and paperwork. Any time we had any questions regarding our event they were very helpful with that and were flexible to any details. When an emergency popped up with Mike D and he had to reschedule, Curtis was right on top of it to work with us and reschedule. The only reason we did not give this a "10" is because when we tried to pay our balance at the office during our last meeting, the women who were working there did not know how to work the credit card machine and so we had to call during work hours to pay the balance over the phone. Other than that, the experience was fantastic.
(Note from Anna - We were off doing a wedding show during her meeting. One of our DJ’s was sitting at Curtis’ desk when she arrived for her meeting with Mike D. Unfortunately the bride did not realize this DJ was not part of the office staff, so when the DJ said that she didn’t know how to run the
Credit card, it didn’t look good to her ?)
How was your experience working with our DJ ?

Comments: Mike D is an amazing person and DJ. He was friendly, supportive, flexible, and offered great suggestions when we were stuck for ideas on songs. He was willing to meet with us in the midst of a family emergency when we totally would have been willing to reschedule and that meant the world to us. He was always smiling, always cheerful, and really engaged us in the process. The day of the event he was an amazing MC and offered a great mix of music. We got so many compliments on his services from our guests once the reception was over, and would hire him again for an event in a heartbeat.
Do you feel that your DJ did his / her best to make your event the best it could be ?

Comments: Absolutely, without a doubt. Mike was observant not only to the mood of the crowd and guests, but also to Steve and I as well. Steve at one point just wanted to "dance with my wife" and worked it out with Mike to play a song when we had a free moment and just clear the dance floor so we could have a minute. At another point, I was sweating a lot and was mentioning this to my mom when Mike grabbed me and pulled me behind the DJ stand so I could enjoy the cool air of his fans. He had a lot of fun with the guests and really engaged them into the reception, which was such a switch from other weddings I've been to where the DJ just says "OK, dance now." We LOVED Mike as a DJ, and were so impressed with him from start to finish.

I talked to Curtis on the phone for about an hour which really made me feel comfortable and at ease with choosing you (Mike) as my DJ. As time went on and we had to deal with the usual wedding changes, Curtis Knight displayed a great deal of professionalism and the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I know you have great trust in Mike D and we thank you for bringing him to us. I just want you to know that he did an incredible job. Every detail we asked for he filled.
