Working with you guys was by far the best experience we had with any of our vendors. Curtis was happy to answer all my crazy questions and deal with my constant in-decisiveness!! We were able to have Rich Fontaine as our DJ and he was awesome!!! Rich worked very well for Jeffrey and I, because I am very crazy and outgoing while Jeffrey is a little more reserved. Rich was able to suit both of our personalities! During the reception he always kept us posted to as what was happening next. He played exactly what we wanted him too, and also threw in some ice breakers, which was SO great! We just loved him and would hope that if we had another event we could have him again :) From the very beginning when we booked Rich (12 + months before our wedding) he was fantastic! The reception went so smoothly and everyone had a great time - we can't stop getting compliments!! Thank you for everything, you will most definitely get referrals from Jeffrey and I, we couldn't have imagined things going any smoother, and we thank you for that, Curtis, Anna and Rich!!!!!!!!!

   I have been waiting all weekend to write this email.  First of all, since I booked my wedding through you, you have been so completely accommodating.  You were so quick to respond to all of my questions and requests, you made my planning so easy and stress free.  Everything else was so crazy but I felt, from the beginning, very comfortable with choosing you for my wedding and our new years party.  You came highly recommended and now I know why. 
    Secondly, Rich was the best DJ ever!!!  My family has hosted many parties.  I have been to many parties, many weddings, and never in my life has it been that good.  Apparently no is not in your vocabulary because if he didn't have it, he got it.  He was so unbelievable, I could cry.  I am truly beside myself.  He really made my wedding, because you and I both know, it is all about the music.  I will never go through another company again and I will be sure to spread the word.  You will be who I will call for everything, and I will be calling because we like to party.  Its funny because when we heard about you, my mother said she followed your band forever so it was kind of cool you'd be at my wedding, and cool it was.  Thank you, thank you, thank you.  Please forward my thanks to Rich as well, he was awesome and we will be requesting him in the future.  Thanks again.  Happy New Year!!

It's funny because she recommended you prior to her birthday party...so I guess she liked the song list and emails too. ) Pleasant, spirited emails helped make the planning enjoyable and not a hassle. Your experience shows! PS If you can find the " Bertha Butt Boogie" anywhere, let me know ( not on Itunes, can get lyrics but no recording on line. ) Have a good weekend and thank the DJ for us/ hope it was a good experience for him too.

I was a bit concerned when the DJ changed after the contract was signed. ( Alex was booked at another event) When I inquired about a DJ, and you told me ( or I heard) he ( Alex) was the best for this age group and other customers were very pleased, The next communication made me feel like our event was less of a priority and we were now getting another good DJ, but perhaps not the best and maybe you had not planned it right. As you know, I hadn't used either one of them so I was just going on what you said. So in the future I suggest, Curtis, that instead you say something like" I have a few excellent DJs for this type of event..., then see their availability and commit." That would probably provide the spin you want and the assurance the customer likes to have. The replacement DJ was fine though. Fine, a bit less interactive than I would have preferred, but was responsive and played great tunes. Early in the night I asked him to switch into more party music/kick it up a notch, and he did. Very pleased with music selection and his ability to read the audience and supply the right content for the age group on the dance floor. Volume good and appropriate for dancers and talkers ( grandma did not even complain and she always does). Curtis, I will recommend your services again ( Katie was on the planning committee and had suggested using your services for the BMHS semiformal on 3/30 . I have been meaning to write thank you notes to all my vendors, but after the thank you notes to my guest I think I had nothing left in me. I have been have extreme service issues with my photographer and their faults are making everyone else that was involved in our wedding shine. Their negative service is giving me a second wind for thanks to all that were involved in making our wedding day so memorable.
Please grade us on a scale of 1 - 10, with 10 being the best.
How was your experience working with our office to book your event ?
Answer: 8 ( just because Curtis was giving me a hard time about the shoe game, but he set us up with the perfect DJ)
Comments: Our meeting with Curtis went well, he really got an understanding of what we were looking from our DJ.

Comments: Working with Rich before the wedding was very minimal. I had one conversation with him the week before, which I had thought would need to go longer so I could assure myself that he knew what Shawn and I wanted in a DJ, the music that we were looking for him to play and be sure he had a full understanding of the level of commentary we wanted. I am pretty sure he was given full warning of how crazy I was about my concerns of a talkative DJ, but Rich was very professional in assuring me that he was not going to be putting on a show would just be playing great music and keep the dance floor packed, which he did.
Do you feel that your DJ did his / her best to make your event the best it could be ?
Answer: 10
Comments: We could not have asked for a better DJ, the dance floor was packed all night. All our guests, of all ages (including grandparents), raved about how great the music was and the momentum of the dance floor throughout the night. He did such a great job playing a range of music and didn't miss one song off our request list. He also was very respectful of our request of no line dancing, one grandparent requested the chicken dance and he said she would need to check with the bride and groom, even though the request came from a grandparent, he respected the fact that we were still his client and handled it perfectly (and no we still didn't play the song, grandparent or not, it is still the chicken dance, we should have done it for her, but, we didn't). The biggest complement I could give was that one of my uncles, a well known and successful event planner in NYC and Boston, asked my mother to get him the DJ's contact info so he would have it for his files because he was so impressed with the flow and professional manor Rich kept throughout the evening.
Additional Notes:
I feel that you should add the song "Now that we found love, what are we gonna do" to your suggestion list for last dances. Rich played the typical "Last Dance" and then as we had requested to put on "Now that we found love". What a great memory for a last dance, the excitement on the dance floor when that came on was one of my absolute favorite memories from our day.
