Curtis, after I talked to you it was an easy decision to switch from my current DJ to your company. You just "got it." And the longer we worked with you the more I realized your actions spoke even louder than your words. You meant what you said. You were also very generous in finding ways to thank me and my husband for our service in the military. Thank you for making your passion into a company because when you care as much as you do, it shows. Ronny Perrin is a great guy who also happens to be a wedding DJ. I knew I made the right choice when the day before the wedding I called him to set up music for a slideshow (a very last minute request). Even though I was calm in my demeanor he somehow knew I must be anxious. He took the request and reassured me it was no big deal, it was going to be great. The pressure I felt melted away. We are a military family and though we don't expect such generosity, we are always very grateful for those who are grateful for us. Thank you again Ronny. I found him to be personable, easy-going, flexible, experienced, and funny! We had several people tell us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. A large part of setting the tone of the wedding is the DJ so he set us up for success! We loved the creative twist on the classic wedding games and many people complimented him on "the shoe game." The big group hug at the end was also a fantastic touch. Oh and we can't forget the impromptu karaoke. HAHA. Such a fun and unforgettable night. It was wonderful working with you, Ronny. THANK YOU!!! Steve Clements, our videographer, was also wonderful to work with. It's tough to feel a camera on you and guests mentioned that they felt comfortable with him so in turn they didn't feel so put on the spot. He was always ready for me and guests to move him to the next great moment we wanted captured. I won't forget the moment when my 3 year old son was dancing on a chair and I ushered Steve over to grab the shot. He said "always grab me when you see something. I'll come right over." My son then proceeded to get so excited by it all that he threw a punch towards his cousin's head. I had to correct him (on camera!) and after me and Steve laughed he said "don't worry. I'll edit that part out." haha. phew! He also made a great team with our photographer. It was an evening wedding and when we were running out of light to take outside photos he stayed around and let the photographer usher him around which made for some AMAZING shots. BIG THANK YOU for being so flexible and easy to work with. All around great guy!
As stated above I feel Curtis set me up with an unbeatable team. Me and my husband had a great time at the wedding as did the guests. And I feel that CKE absolutely performed to the best of their ability to make our wedding night a great one! GO TEAM!

Hi Curtis and Ronny, Jill and I just got back from our honeymoon and I wanted to give you the full evaluation from the night. Let me know if you have any other questions. Curtis was very good at asking me about what I wanted out of the night, listening to my answers and discussing options with me and finding me a great match in a DJ. Ronny did a fantastic / amazing / unbelievable job with our wedding reception. The party had energy for the entire night even though it lasted for 7 hours. People were on the dance floor right from the beginning and stayed on until the end. Ronny did a great job working in the various planned events of the night, such as the parent dances and bouquet tosses, without having them disrupt the flow of the night. The schedule was changed a few times, such as when the bridal party arrived late, or when we had to delay the parent dances, and Ronny adjusted perfectly to make sure everyone continued to have a great time and never let them realize anything was going different than planned. Ronny met with us before the event and got a very clear picture of what we wanted out of the music and environment, and the resulting package he put together was even more perfect than what I could have imagined or tried to describe. He was very personable and entertaining whenever he was on the microphone and all of the guests loved him. He directed and guided us and our bridal party through anything we needed to do and made sure we were always having a good time. Even though we had discussed the plan for the night ahead of time, once it had started, I didn't need to think about anything and could just enjoy the night while he choreographed it all and told us when we needed to do something specific. The music selection was spot on with what we had discussed, it was all put together to keep the energy up for the entire night, and the dance floor was literally filled from our first to our last dance and beyond. It was by many other people's accounts the most fun they've had at any wedding they had been too.
I can't think of anything else I would have liked to have seen or done differently, and I would recommend CKE and Ronny specifically to anyone.

Your kindness and DJ skills were extremely beyond our expectations, from the time that you entered the hall. Until you left the fundraiser, you were constantly mixing into the crowd with your music and making sure that everyone knew what exactly was going on. What raffles were coming up next letting all guest know who to see if they wanted to purchase tickets? Me personally have not ever seen or heard a DJ that is so professional, I had one person come up to me and had asked were we got you from. I told him that i was referred by a co-worker, and that you were from the Curtis Knight Entertainment. Again she said it was one of the better DJ that they have had, people coming in thru the door heard you talking and letting people know what was going on and they did not have to ask what was next. My co-workers who could not make it had asked how everything went, i said awesome a very generous, caring, supported night, basically standing room only at some points, and the DJ if you ever need one they you go. Curtis Knight Entertainment. Ask for Ronny. There is a lot more that i could write but need to get back to work. Once again thanks a lot. My family loved you.

Talking with Curtis on the phone definitely made me want to book w/the company. I was disappointed he would not be our DJ (Because of our budget) but was confident another DJ would do just as great a job. The trivia was a nice touch since the group probably would not have wanted to participate in the more in depth games. The trivia was a great idea. There was not a lot of dancing, but I think that had to do with the people at the event and not the DJ. Enjoyed the music that was played.

Anna and Curtis of Curtis Knight Entertainment made the experience of finding and selecting a DJ one of the most stress-free experiences of planning our wedding; any bride knows that planning a wedding is stressful on so many levels, but never once did I have a concern, worry or doubt about our decision to go with Curtis Knight Entertainment. Any phone calls or emails were always promptly responded to, with either Curtis or Anna at the other end of the line excited and willing to answer any questions.
Working with our DJ, Ronny, much like working with the Curtis Knight office in general, was stress-free, enjoyable and fun. Ronny pays great attention to detail and organization, while also always acknowledging that he's "working" for the bride and groom; Ronny genuinely cares about the bride and groom's requests, as well as the importance of their guests having an amazing time.
Ronny was amazing! The dance floor was never empty and people partied right up until the last song. He was very cooperative in working with our photographer and the wedding day coordinator at our venue, to make sure the music for our ceremony as well as our reception was perfect.

Comments: I was very surprised to see the variety he had with him he played requests and to my knowledge he had every song that was requested. The mix was exactly what we wanted.
Do you feel that your DJ did his / her best to make your event the best it could be ?
Answer: He did an excellent job everyone had a great time.
Comments: I would recommend Curtis Knight to anyone looking for entertainment. I have run Christmas Parties for my associates in previous years and the music is what makes the party everyone at my wife's 60th had a great time. Thank you for a real good time.

Comments: Every question I had was answered immediately. When I was speaking with Curtis on the phone before I even met with anyone, he put together a CD for me of all of the songs that we were discussing and sent it to me right away. That's the part that first sold me - why even look for another DJ when everything you want is right there for you???

Comments: Ronny Perrin was amazing! I got a little panicked about 2 weeks before the wedding, and he was quick to reassure me that everything was going to be fine. He did everything that we asked for, and made everyone feel comfortable - as a matter of fact, we have had two people ask us about Ronny for events of their own! I really believe that it is ultimately the DJ that makes or breaks the wedding reception, and with Ronny there, I was able to finally relax and truly enjoy myself. I didn't worry about anything!

Comments: My cousin brought in some surprises as a part of our "family tradition" that isn't something that you would normally see at a wedding reception. It was a hit with everyone there! Thanks to Ronny, the tradition still carries on, and nobody's feelings got hurt....but at the same time, (and this is the important part) he didn't allow anything completely inappropriate, and always kept total control. We are so happy that we had Ronny share our day with us! We would call for him again in a heartbeat. Please, please, please give us a call if you need ANY references!

Answer: Working With Curtis Knight Entertainment was a simple and enjoyable experience. Curtis and Ronnie worked around our schedule to meet with us to discuss our thoughts & ideas about the wedding reception, offered suggestions, and were able to find any music we were looking for.
Comments: Curtis Knight Entertainment returned phone calls and e-mails promptly and courteously. They were always available to answer any questions we had.
How was your experience working with our DJ ?
Answer: Ronnie was great. Right from the start of the evening Ronnie had us at ease, it was one of the few things we didn't have to worry about. He had everything organized, played great music, and had everyone dancing all night!
Do you feel that your DJ did his / her best to make your event the best it could be ?
Answer: Ronnie walked us through every step of the reception, explaining how things would work. Everything was perfect. Ronnie played whatever music anyone wanted to hear. I got many complements from my guests about what a great job Ronny did. I would love to have Ronny work other parties we may have in the future.

Curtis, I wanted to just let you know Ronny did a great job with our wedding on June 23rd. We had problems with several of the vendors, including the caterer and it was a pleasure to deal with someone who was not only a professional but willing to help out whatever way he could. The caterer arrived to set up the reception site a bare 40 minutes before the cermony was to begin and Ronny asked what he could do to help. He had every detail of the ceremony and reception under control. Furthermore, he was fun and the guests all loved him. He was top notch and afforable. If I ever have need for a DJ for any event I will absolutely book him again and highly recommend him to any future bride planning a wedding. It was refreshing being able to relax and know he had everything under control. He was by far the best spent money at our wedding. Thanks for everything

He was very attentive to my requests and was right on top of every thing. He knew just how to get everyone going after dinner. And even showed us how to do a line dance! Ronny did an amazing job. I was very happy with him. I had a bunch of people ask me where I got the DJ from. I thought that was a great compliment for me and him and Curtis Knight! Hello Curtis, First of all, I personally wanted to take the time to write to you and your company for the superior service which I received this past Saturday. When another DJ backs out and another company can have someone there with 8 hours notice, which is #1 in my book. DJ Ronnie was probably one of the best, if not the best DJ's I've ever heard work a mic, and with the elderly crowd he was given to work with, we could not ask anymore for him. Yourself and DJ Ronnie definitely saved the party, wouldn’t have been the same without you guys. On a second note, upon hearing Ronnie perform, me and Debbie are wondering if he was available for our wedding in May of 2006. ...After hearing Ronnie last night, could just let me know if this is a possibility at your earliest convenience, as we are prepared to sign a contract and pay this week for DJ Ronnie.
