Rachael Austin was Born and raised in Helena Montana.  She comes from a long line of skilled photographers and has been photographing weddings since 2000 Rachael Studied film photography and writing at Clackamas College, in Oregon and later under the guidance of legendary photographer Tom Malee.   Rachael sewed her wild oats as a singer in a Rock and Roll band and as a long and short haul truck driver for 7 years. She enjoys “anything outside- gardening, bicycling, hiking” She also loves  to cook and has discovered the joy of growing her own food, canning and juicing.  Rachael is a classically trained pianist and loves to perform at her church. Rachael loves photographing weddings “because I get to employ my art, travel to amazing locations for shoots, meet incredible people many of whom have become valued friends.”  Rachael Austin Shoots Nikon D-700 and Nikon D-200 cameras.

Hi Curtis! Just wanted to say a huge thank you to you all for making our wedding phenomenal, last Saturday 8/12! Bob was so incredible and delivered exactly the type of ceremony we wanted. Mark was SUCH an awesome DJ and got the whole crowd up and dancing! Rachel was my stress reliever and had everything picture wise under control!!! She knew how to connect with my 4 year old maniac and get him to focus during pictures, we couldn't be any happier with how everything went. You guys were so amazing to deal with from the beginning!!!
